#evil #diehard - Krátké a kreslené filmy
I love the fact that you did the Die Hard brothers back to back. Thank you!
I disagree that Simon didn't care about Hans, at least to a degree as the dialogue between he and Zeus shows:
Zeus, "Man didn't I hear you say you didn't even LIKE your brother?!"
Simon, "There's a difference between not liking your brother and not caring when some dumb Irish flatfoot drops him out of a window."
I also always admired Simon and his group more as they seemed far more principled than Han's group.
John, "There was never any bomb in the school was there?"
Simon, "Of course not. I'm not a monster, though I sometimes work for monsters."
Even most of his organization go out of their way to avoid killing more than absolutely necessary,(The exception being the metro bomb, the one guard and John's friend from the NYPD which arguably were somewhat necessary for the plan to work) when Zeus hands the bomb back to Simon's men disguised as cops, they express horror at the idea of just leaving it as "Some kid could..."(find it) and so they take it with them, they use tranquillizers on most of the security guards and they even let Simon go the first time he's in their clutches instead of killing him.
Simon to me is much like Cooler from the DBZ franchise. He's clearly the more level headed and practical than his brother and he's not so much avenging his brother out of love or hate, but rather a conception of family honor(that admittedly he might not have even done if John hadn't been in the same city as the heist).
Dude, Cooler was basically like Ursula's sister Morgana from _Little Mermaid 2._
A character who is basically an inferior version of a previous character written off as a surprise sibling.
Simon is NOT that.
The tranquilizer thing could be a tactic to avoid getting the x rating or whatever is after "r rating", and yes, I always compared gruber brothers to frieza and cooler from dbz. You know what they say, frieza was cool but his brother was cooler
McClane: You know your brother was an a**hole.
Simon: Ha! He WAS an a**hole! You got his number!
This guy is childhood memories for me.
Hans Gruber is the greatest movie villain ever.
He is outclassed in Die Hard lore by his smarter older brother.
Die Hard 3 is another classic.
Gruber scared the crap out me
Jeremy irons amazing
LOVE Die Hard 3!
You gotta do Carnage & Shriek from Venom, Emperor Belos from “Owl House”, and Dracula from “Renfield”
Simple Simon met a pieman going to fair; said Simple Simon to the pieman..."give me all your pies, or I cave your head in".
2:38 and that would be Luftsturmregiment 40 'Willi Sanger' of the NVA.
Do queen barb Next from trolls world tour
Best die hard movie.
Simon Gruber in his little tank
he is very different from his brother because he is deceptive
Simon Gruber? Didn’t John McClane say his name was f**k head? That aside, curious as to what the dynamic was between Simon and Hans growing up in the Gruber household
Please do LN The MiND OF The Villain Episode on Odin from God of war
Grant Ward from Agents of Shield
Teddy Bagwell from prison break
Hades from the the 2010 remake of clash of the titans and the sequel
I find that Simon Gruber is similar to Howard payne from speed and the riddler from Batman.
Can you do Colonel Stewart from Die Hard 2? 👍
I’m open to it but not for a while. Tbh I haven’t actually seen Die Hard 2 yet myself.
@@inthemindofavillaincan you do a video on the mountain lord tiger from the korean 2015 film the tiger a old hunter's tale and mor'du pixar's brave
It would be great if you'd complete the set and do Colonel Stuart from DIe Hard 2, Thomas Gabriel from Die Hard with a Vengeance, and Yuri Komarov in A Good Day to Die Hard
I’m not opposed to the idea but it might be a while.
@@inthemindofavillain actually, you could probably just skip that last one... as most people did. 🤣🤣🤣
yes he is deceptive and cunning but he in some way cared his brother very little
You’re gettin no thumbs up from me lad by callin west Germany, a BIG quotes “democracy“
Ok tankie
@@TheFunctioningInsomniac Evidently ya aren’t aware of their bannin of political parties or police state actions that began in the early 70s, their first intelligence service the (Gehlen organization) as well as all their industrialists and a former chancellors direct connections to the angry Austrian. apparently, reactionary political catchphrases is all ye need; rather than the context that makes his statement laughable.
Die Hard 2 was garbage. But Die Hard 3 is an unappreciated gem.
On the contrary, DH2 was quite good
It wasn't garbage. Sure it had it's flaws, but I liked how the bad guys were ex-military and actual terrorists, moreso then either brother. I admit I'm one of the few who has the second one as my favorite.
I wouldn’t say “garbage”, Die Hard 3 was definitely superior though.
Die Hard 2 is a masterpiece compared to a Good Day To Die Hard. Am I right everybody?
