I am amazed that this only has around 700 views, considering Alan doesn't often do interviews. This was a great interview man, really enjoyed listening to Alan talk about how he thinks about his projects. Thank you for this!
@@lugie69 I'm not sure but they still joke around on twitter together sometimes! and Alan, Dina, and Robby are working together on an upcoming tv series called The Dream as writers/directors. I hope he just used the past tense because the whole group isn't currently touring or developing a show together though ( ; ^ : )
Since so many years, i weekly search for Alan to Talk about his Alanturorial project. I understand that he wants to keep the spell of it. And i can assure you, that even after watching it for over 50times, i love it, i love his creative and crazy mind, i love this world and i always fall for it. In the last Videos i can't even eat something, even with all my knowledge about it. In my eyes, it's a Masterpiece. To be honest, in the first 3 Years, i didn't searched up anything about it and hoped for another video :) Thank you both for the interview. I can finally die in peace now. (maybe after watching it for some few times more :)) Thank you both so much for the Interview! And thank you Alan for talking about that topic, especially for it beeing such a sensitive topic to talk about for you. Lots of Love from a Fan from Germany who, after all this years, still adores you Alan :)
I watched Alan tutorial as it unfolded and it was a blast. I was so happy when Alan was alive after the break and then rapidly became more concerned about him trapped in that room. It wasn't until ages after that I found Alans other projects and now I am banned from recommending videos to my friends.
Seeing this guy talk about AlanTutorial is amazing to me, hell seeing him be serious is amazing to me. I always feel like Alan is acting. Somehow the idea that AlanTutorial is a kid answers all the questions, but also ask more questions lmao. Great interview dude.
it’s hard to believe this is “Alan tutorial”. I surf the dark web, deep web, and dark/deep sides of youtube. and Alan tutorial was in my eh... top 15 favorite dark/deep/hidden parts of youtube. So I finally did some searching, and found out that Alan is not a crazy methhead in a hoarder apartment, just a amazing actor with a weird project...
I randomly decided to click on this video and I’m immediately impressed at your interview style, man. Very chill and laid-back, especially considering how he said he wasn’t very good at interviews. Subbed.
I think talking about surrealism, the interviewers could've mentioned the Atlanta series. Would've loved Alan to talk about the uncanny feel of that show.
considering the talk on costume and wardrobe; one time i was at a wham city show at purchase college in white planes ny and i saw a person with their shirt inside out and i said hey yo your shirts inside out and they were just walking by and stopped and said oh like its supposed to be and then i realized it was alan.
Love his ideology behind why he makes his movies have such depth. It's definitely why I am enamoured with his work. I'm always curious to what he does next
What haunts me is that he keeps referring to Wham City as something he WAS a part of. Is the group disbanded, or did he leave it, or are they only going to continue making videos but not live performances, or or or...?
While I appreciate that this dude made this interview happen, Its annoying when people interviewing creative people talk about how "crazy" their stuff is and "how did you think of that, were you smoking POTS?!". Its called being creative ffs. Try to empathize with the person youre interviewing. You make yourself look dumb when you see some avante garde comedy and think drugs are the only way that could happen. NPC talk.

He does a great interview on The Poundcast
this crazy man keeps me alive

Dude I’ve never seen Alan be serious lol
Hearing Alan refer to Wham City in the past tense puts a tear in my eye.
Same, did they have a falling out or did they just end or what?

My 12 year old daughter and I LOVE everything Alan creates, seriously :) His surreal/experimental art is so satisfying in an unexplainable way.
This is concerning
I KNOW I especially love Alans video he made called "Visitor Information", it's horrifying, hilarious, and cute

Great interview. Commenting for the algorithm gods. This deserves more views.

This interview is really cool and inspiring
Unedited Footage of a Bear unsettled me to no end, but it also introduced me to Ed Schrader's Music Beat and I am forever grateful
This is an amazing interview. Great to finally get a BTS look inside the mind of Alan!
how to kill a bee with spare pants tutorial
Alantutorial in 2020! Yay
I just discovered that video, thanks a lot sharing this interview! Great to hear about the mind of modern artists! Amazing!
When Alan Resnick says ,,i have to die beacuse i am so unhealthy,, gives me crying every single day😢😢😭😭😭😓😞😢😥😟😰😨😧😦😮😯😲

Alan is a legend

Ay shout out Jville. Pretty cool you landed an interview like this, good job.
I understand that Alan tutorial will never come back but it would be really cool if there was a sequel
Nice interview, always was curious on the behind the scenes aspects on his creative works
also alan rarely breaks character in the public eye. big ups on getting this down to earth from the roots interview
I’m so glad this exists
I wanna know more about Alan's wife! She sounds hilarious and I can see how they ended up together
Dina Kelberman. She’s also listed as art director on many of Wham City’s productions.
its good this man is safe and has a nice house and if he has a phone good for him but im touched hes ok and hes not alone
woah great interview
I could watch these two talk about clocks for hours.
Thank you for interviewing my favorite sleep paralysis and fever dream demon
Goddamn do I love Alan's Work, and he is really relatable despite his creative/original vibe.
28:59 in the elephant glue tutorial you can see part of the script for "Live forever as you are now"
that interview was surreal, but cool.
I watched this guys videos when I was 10 and they scared the living crap out of me
I love how he introduced his wife as the person who made the clock xD
great interview!!!
I was introduced to alans work on lsd and he now has a spacial but almost terrifying place in my head
Awesome man first guy I ever saw live doing standup

Still waiting for a tutorial on picking up a green chair...

I couldn't tell when I just had it playing in background for me

How did you get him on?

How does no one talk about how dangerous the environment was in the last videos. He wass literally in a rotting pile of trash.
What happened to his inoccent voice
I think he was faking it for the project (or bc it was 11-12 years ago)
