I do my own nails with gel overlay, and this is a pretty realistic look at what it's like when you are your own nail tech. Depending on how detailed the nail art, it takes me anywhere from 3-6 hours and I often will divide up the time between a couple of days. I love this because when you see people do their own nails on YT you are given a much abbreviated version of it, for practicality. But this is more the reality, the planning, trying to find something to listen to while you work, making changes at the last minute, constantly striving for improvement...its a whole big thing 😅
