You forgot to try the rtr mustang, it’s definitely up there
1:49 a feature in FH5, if an opponent is potentially about to overtake you at the finish, the black bars come out. If you have a gaping lead ahead of the other driver, the black bars will not come out.
Actually I think they come out regardless of where your oponents are

i did like 10 laps on the highway and i was lapping them all, still got black bars
The screen only gets smaller when you’re fighting for a position/very close with another car at the end of the race!

The reason the Drags are 0.6 Miles is because its a 1 Kilometer. Still having a mile based drag would be nice.

The new hummer is pretty insane, and after some in game weight reduction, it'll be super fast on the drag strip considering it's electric
I'm telling you man lol you got utility Van's beating super cars lol. Now I would be lying if I didnt admit seeing a van at a real drag strip get busy but not enough to beat fully drag turned supercars lol

I did an experiment with most of the legendary hyper cars and a few epics. I just put on the most popular tune for each car and did the Aerodrome drag race (1 Mile, 1.6 km) with each one. None of the tunes were specifically made for drag racing, so there might be better tunes out there that could give better times, but here are my results:

The Festival drag strip is 1km long. The game rounds down to 0.6 miles instead of showing 0.62 miles. The abandoned airfield is 2km long.

I made a 1/8 and 1/4 mile drag race because I was also fed up with not having them, they’re marked to the best of my abilities. Only problem is you have to between the finish line markers so it’s good for 1v1’s. It gets tight with 3 people
I remember playing the TVR back in Gran Turismo 3 and 4 back then.. what a fun vehicle.. kind of wish they brought back the (1999 I believe) Aston Martin V8 vantage

You must invite your friend to the convoy, and after invite to the session, i figured it out after having the same problem it works for me now
Rimac is my go to for speed traps/zones, jumps…pretty much everything even off-road it’s just a monster with acceleration
I mean with the right tune the delorean is pretty quick. Mine tops out at like 270

You needa try the supra and trueno Apex, as well as the RTR spec 5 mustang, they were all pretty insane in fh4 as well on the strip

i have an EB110 that clocks 282, just tune/build right and you get huge success :)

You left out the hoonigan bel air, just max it out, engine swap the last engine, make it awd and put drag tires and thats easily one of the fastest drag cars in the game.

I have a Vette in FH5 that does 0-60 in a little under a second. It's my first time tuning a car without the help of a YT vid and I was so happy.

the XJR with the gigantic wing was actually faster than its drag tune version. It had 12.9 seconds compared to the 13.0 seconds of the drag tune

It may have been build for stunts and drift, but it's mean as hell in a straight line too.
And if we're talking strictly in forza, again no. In 4 it was a pretty damn good drag car, I'm sure it is in this game too lol.

It's okay not great but good for the average drag race.
It’s not just me but when you launch of the drag strips you feel like you can smell the gasoline engine off the line
I miss the rocket 69 from Forza MS 6, not only am I a huge fallout fan but that thing was INSANE
I've said from jump go Forza needs drag suspension and the options for different tires and wheels on rear than front.
Just tune the suspension. As for the tire compound your front won't really matter since they never get temps up anyway.
I remember playing Crew 1 drag races and i thought that was a really fun mode. Forza should have something like that

lol that bac mono is my best offroader and prolly favorite all around car, i awd swapped it, added offroad tires, lifted it, and then later added a 10 speed race transmission, and its insane this thing tears across the map at 160 mph and the only thing that stops it is a cliff
try the diablo gtr it’s easy to acquire as well as it’s really fast of the line from horizon 4

The McLaren Speedtail us incredible from 0-60 so would love to see it's true potential.
Honestly the speedtail feels like it has always been held back in horizon games in terms of drag racing and top speed. The car is like a bullet irl but in this game and FH4 it feels so clunky and unstable

The Morgan 3 wheeler has an S1 Drag that does 0-60 in 1.17 seconds and a 240 top speed ( I know that its not the fastest but I just find this funny)
Hey Nick, try the hoonigan hoonicorn v2, it's got some pretty good speed. Mine pushes 1.1 0-60 1.9 0-100 at 268 mph.

That Jesko is still accelerating win you finish every time. The front wheels barely touching and rear bumper scraping the tarmac.
Yea the Jesko can go about 305 on the long highway if maxed and tuned for top speed, I think it may be the fastest car in the game, but it needs space to really shine.

Ik were a ways away form this, but the Evija can get a 4 speed drift gear box, so you could tune that, maybe?
I wish my car was badass enough to have an upside down sweep tach and a diagonal roll bar going right into the dash like the Speed 12 does.

I have sesto tuned up to 1200hp and it's Perfect for drag racing
it wouldnt come close to winning, trust me. however, there is another Lambo that can easily beat the rimac.

I'm surprised I saw no RTR Spec 5 Mustang & no Ultima GTR. The RTR Mustang is super OP like it was last year. I'm sure the Trueno might be really good too but I guess we'll see since we don't have a 1/4th mile.

Toyota trueno is likely better then the civic, it gets 1400hp weighing 2000lbs

My dart does 250-260 at the end and it is super fast
you should have tested the hotwheels twin mill, it has two engines that makes nearly 2000 hp and a 0-60 in anout 0.6 seconds

Rimac concept 2 is my favorite drag car. It comes out the gate faster than almost any car, and has a great top speed

There’s an infinite horsepower glitch. You need the Porsche Tycan and need to be in second gear, hold the handbrake and gas. If you have telemetry on you can see the Horsepower go up
It won’t work in a race, so it doesn’t matter

I hit a 12.346 (the same time as the final attempt for the Rimac) in the Lamborghini Diablo GTR!
Hmm, my custom Jesko build got 12.598 on Automatic, but that's cuz I was lazy during testing. Still doesn't beat the Rimac, but it's odd that you couldn't get better than 12.646.

You need to know what drag tunes are my man, 1-60 in 10 sec tunes is not it at all. One of those cars you had I have with a proper tune on it and can run 9 seconds on that same run.

I ran a 12.246 with manual no clutch on my 2nd run. I imagine you could go suuuper quick with a bit of practice
I think the tune suggested it will do 12.0 but that seems a long shot

Can you do a drag meet? All twelve people line up at the festival drag strip. 1 person calls out a car division and class. A couple people out of the 12 go and build a drag car with those restrictions. Then, they race in freeroam on the drag strip. The person who finishes last in the drag race will be permanently out. There will be several rounds, and whoever is the last person standing wins.
Nick you need to try the 2018 Mustang RTR Spec 5. with the tune i’m using i can get to 282mph and i did a 12.7 on the same drag strip
I got a 12.1 with an s1 on that strip. Use teh forsberg racing 280z
