Watching this, the whole time I was saying to myself "how the hell does that conveyer keep running under all that weight", got my answer right at the end when they put the boards back over it. Very simple and clever solution.
my thoughts exactly . those didn't look like pebbles though
Same here, and I almost stopped the video before I got the answer.
same
I just wonder how many legs have been lost working that close to an unguarded screw conveyer.
@@tedb4355 I'm pretty sure it's a belt, you can see the last of the rocks riding down on it, and they are walking on it at the end.
I don't know why we should not have seen this. After all, we are just viewers who enjoy watching the process. I now have a better understanding of just how big these barges are. You guys do awesome work.
Like you, I did not know why we should have seen this, but I wondered if it might just be a translation issue from whatever language is used by YZR.
Whatever, the video was interesting.
Clickbait attempt,together you to wTch
Maybe „like you‘ve never seen before“?
I've been watching videos like this for the last week and I'm glad I got to see even a time lapse of the whole operation but I'm confused I watch Chief Mako and he's on a bulk carrier ship but everybody keeps calling these dirt and gravel boats barges but I grew up my whole life a barge does not have an engine and has to be pushed by tug these boats must have another name because they have engines and a pilot house and they're able to self-propel to me that goes against the definition of barge look at Wikipedia
@AB a powered barge shaped ship is a scow, but these ships are neither a barge or a scow
To make it complete, you could show the loading process as well. Maybe a time lapse of the entire process, from start to end. 😎
D.I.Y.... >... settings.... playback speed ... x 25... or faster
ABOUT TIME !! Thank You for this video as it actually showed the boards covering the discharge belt being installed . Now at least I have a better idea of when and how this happens ..
*Thank you so much for showing us the whole unloading process. Plus putting all the wood pieces back in place. With the speed of it, it was like watching ants at work... zipping all over the place. So you fast speed it all into 4.45... I would love to know how long it actually takes in real time. The machines on the port were never gonna make any headway in shifting that huge pile lol.*
@Karl with a K hardly
This is one of your best videos, beautiful background, wonderful music and an idea of where all this is going. Thanks and again waiting for more .👍👍👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks for showing the whole process. Would never have know how this worked. Glad to know how the conveyor worked with the planks.
Great video! I have wanted to see the boards being replaced.
Please move the end screen icons off the video and int the dark side screens.
Can drag them in the video edit screens.
Because we can't see the great return trip at the end!
This was a nice changeup. Thanks for showing this perspective!
Nice video, it explains it all with no words.
I was amaiting a video showing the workers putting the wood blocks in place again 😀
That is awesome footage indeed. Thank you and greetings from Australia
I’m amazed that the barge remains stable as it’s unloaded.
That's normally the responsibility of the Mate, who has to calculate for ballast pumping as the cargo discharge progresses. Get it wrong and the vessel is wrecked.
@@MervynPartin Thanks. That makes sense.
Incredible, great video
Thanks God. I saw this through your video. Now finally I saw almost this whole process.
Excellant Video those guys sure work fast 😊
WOW!!!..........EXCELLENT VIDEO 👌
WHY should I have NOT seen this video? .....very enjoyable
Very interesting time lapse capture! Really well done and thanks for sharing. The music is also really good!
Хороший способ разгрузки придумали .
Very cool!!! Thank you
I thought I was a quick loader operator that guy was amazing
Excellent! Thank you, great video, and job! Awesome music.!👍👍👍👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
I like this time-lapse process 👍can you show entire loading and unloading? Very satisfying
Fantastic to see it cleared and boarded up again.
I'm not going to tell anyone I saw this.
Unbelievable. I do dirt work and I would never dream of straddling a moving conveyor belt while trying to get myself buried in rock much less do it when OSHA could show up and give me a ticket harsh enough for me to miss my house payment that month just to make some boat captain happy. Nope.
Maybe I should not have seen it, but I have no regrets.
Thank You for the video ......
Cool video showing the process. Do you maybe know which company built these vessels. thank you in advance
Ого, кораблик !
Такое количество камней ! Интересно , какая у него осадка ?
Amazing, such a simple idea an very effective...
Finally, we can know. Excellent
Amazing ♥️
Aawweessoommee!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🥰🥰🥰💓💓💕💞💛💛💗💗😍😍💖💖❤️
Great video
That's very cool
You should look at the US / Canadian Great lakes fleet. Those ships are 750 to 1100 ft long and 60+ feet beam with 40 ft draft. They move Grain, salt, iron ore, coal, and limestone. Mostly feed the steel industry from the mines in Minnesota and Canada. Many video feeds available of them moving into and from ports.
Very good video!
Thank you
Really nice video of the port actions. Keep it up please
that was pretty cool
Ganhou naus yn inscrito e muito satisfatorio ver isso..
Cool video
Wow…thank you so much for listening! Where is this located?
What would be real time unloading it ?
Теперь я знаю что за дощечки.
Almost no dust, guess the guys with the hoses were to keep the dust down
That's river gravel that hasn't been crushed as yet so it's mostly clean
Amazing
What's so top secret about this that we should not have seen it..?
Probably a couple thousand tons of rock off loaded. Rock on.
Какое интересное решение .
Pretty cool. In my opinion, they should have this system on land were there dumping, that would eliminate the need for the front end loader. Truck just backs up to the belt and gets loaded.
But the amount of time setting that system up on land is way more time consuming and expensive than running a loader.
Loveit!!
มันแค่ย้ายฝั่งใช่มั้ยคะ ขนหินจากอีกฝั่งไปขึ้นอีกฝั่ง
So whats the big deal, that wasn't a top secret operation that hasn't been seen before.
...that reminds me I have to switch off the standby light on my TV to save the planet.
АААА - вон что оно! - я все думал , как транспортер под таким весом и длинной , протаскивает ленту под щебнем !? оказывается перекрывают поперечинами...))😅
I’m glad you talked me out of it…
Wow.
"Ok then, I will close my eyes to watch it.
How much do these people make?? This would be a great way to get in shape!!
Presumably these only operate on rivers, the load must have a relatively high centre of gravity which would make it unstable at sea?
WOW
👏👌👍🥳
👍👍
How many tons or cubic meters does the boat hold?
Would think that cobblestone would full unload at least 7 hrs. probably closer to 8 just dumping on the ground.
Ahhhhhhh so that’s what those boards were for.....
Looks like no safety guard around the auger (workers straddling the center line).
Why shouldn't I have seen this?
Two questions:
Why weren't we supposed to see this?
Why did you film vertically?
Look at the loader in the back ground, I run one and 3 1\5 scoops of crusher run is about 20 tons. He is putting 6 to 7 on the trucks, how many tons is he putting on them?
How long is the trip?? Is it simaler to Great Lakes long boat traffic??
Have you ever wonder how the heck they stay afloat?
Real time how long does it take to unload?
Now I can die peacefully 😌..
Why does the loader keep adding black dirt into the gravel like that?
I'm new to the channel. What's the purpose of the wood slats and when are they inserted?
The slats keep the next load of aggregate from getting on the conveyor belt. Without them the weight would be too much for belt operation.
Why don't they put the dump trucks under the conveyor belt.
Too much weight falling that far. It would destroy the dump truck. IMO
Gdzie to jest w jakim kraju
It’s 2022. Who still films in portrait mode? You’re trying to show us a decent view of a process ~ HOLD YOUR CAMERA/PHONE THE OTHER WAY,like NORMAL eyesight
Why is it conveyor belt covered back up? And how is it uncovered when there's a complete load on top?
I've seen other videos 180 degrees from this vantage point and they used a cable and winch that attaches to a "U" bolt on the slats to pull them out.
I should have payed attention to the title. I should not have watched.
Гониво...
And why were we not supposed to see this? I'm not even going to bother to continue watching...don't care for click bait.
Not bad, but your title is about 5 words too long. Using clickbait will not get you subs.
Trying to act secretive is such BS.
What's with the "you should not have seen this" bollocks, talk about click bait, down vote immediately!
I have worked on a similar Self unloader ship in US. M.V. W.H. BLOUNT. It was a converted bulk carrier.
In real time how long does the unloading take?
I like rocks......but I have no idea why I'm watching this.....there's a naked girl in my bed.
The snap track music is garbage!
I smell a bad Google translation as a title lol
