    • @WatchTheDevil
      @WatchTheDevil Před 4 lety +6

      the peltier reduces the temperature all the way down to -16 degree C. But it depends upon the model. the peltier that I'm using right now to reduce my overclocked PC's temperature can reduce to -20 degree C and it really helps me because my CPU's temperature is lower than my room temperature (14 degree) crazy cool right.. this is only because I'm using multiple peltier instead of single.

      @@yourcommentmightnotworksop9987 Yeah i know, but how that thermodynamics runs? Is it gives any changes to regular phone thermal? Does it even heats up the phone? (Yeah if the heat sink fail to rapidly cooldown the peltier, you can watch Linus video as example, they compare water cooling and peltier cooling system on overclocked cpu and guess what, on water system they got like 83 C while on peltier they reached 108 C and their rig ahut down upon thermal safety)
      On top of that, how about the design? Without proper placement of the peltier, how does it even cool down the phone cpu and gpu?
      Those require some measurements

      What if you water cool an i9 using thermoelectric cooling while water cooling the thermoelectric or will that have the same performance impact since the thermoelectric will be too hot for the water and therefore the thermoelectric doesn't generate enough cool temps

  • @f.b.i-cybercrimedivision7453

    There are quite a lot of misses in this video
    [1] Wrong side of the Peltier module facing the heatsink
    [2] Lack of thermal paste between Heat Sink and Peltier Module
    [3] If the Peltier Module is hot glued to the phone case, it wouldn't always be flush with the surface of the phone which would drastically decrease the efficiency
    [4] Lack of a Temperature comparison before and after the setup (I mean, considering that he placed it facing the wrong side, it wouldn't do much)
    [5]? I wouldnt call this a miss but he forgot to provide any model number/links for the items.
    Although its easy for someone who is somewhat knowledgeable in the electronics field to find the proper stuff, It would be better for newbies to get the links for the correct ones. (I hope this won't offend anyone)

      No... Peltier doesn't work that way.. if it is not properly cooled down it won't go to that temperature thus reducing its performance... In the video this device won't even be 2% efficient because there was no thermal paste applied on the device and between the heat sink.. And also the cooling fan isn't that powerful to cool down the heat produced by the peltier so not. Much of a use...
