@@xnarctic listen, i love hero, it was my very first archetype and i played it since "playground format" XD, as long as our endboard is the nibiru token there is no way this deck can defeat the meta
I wouldn’t mind, heroes are pretty fun to play against (except dark law)
@@thenickrider02I do not disagree with you on this point, but the Hero is really competitive. If you monitor the local tournaments, you will find the influence of the Hero players achieving good positions, and some of them achieve first, so do not lose hope.

Isnt it wild how HERO decks always are considered meta killers. Back when i played i had a burning abyss deck and a yosenju deck and dark law always fucked me and my locals

For the First combo Is Easy, use dpe effect for pop wake up in the end phase and make dark law in end

Nice combos, i always start with dpe so if I get nibed i can pop something (usually my own + dpe) so i have the material in grave and the recurrence next turn since this deck does not respect nib at all lol

Not really. If they effect veiler your Faris thats pretty much game. Or if they nib you. Game.
Foolish Burial is a good extender going first or second. Acts as another copy of Malicious or Denier going first and can get you Stratos or another combo piece going second from Shadow Mist

FUN FACT: At 11:09 before summoning Cross Crusader you can summon Delicious from the GY so afterwards you will be able to keep sunrise on the board and NOT use him as material. (correct me if I'm wrong)
Thats correct, you can keep the sunrise on the field at the first combo by doing this

Correct! You can also bring out malicious b4 making Cross crusader. Then use increase and vyon to make cross crusader to bring back denier. Denier effect to place the banished malacious on top. then tribute the mally To add a hero. Denier stays on board and you don’t have to use his effect to resurrect unless you drew plasma and/or need the extra body.
i have been testing that, but if you don't use, wont that mean that sunrise will stay under wonder driver which means next turn when you summon dpe, or dark law or anything the spot will be taken and you wont be able to re set a spell unless the sunrise leaves someway?
@@smithlead47 I don't think that sunrise is an issue. You should always use dpe, malicious or denier under wonder driver on the first turn so you can have an empty spot on the next turn. Just keep in mind where you place your cards and you will be ok!

I'm building a hero deck and I was looking for control cards to put in the deck. You proposed exactly what I am looking for. Do you have a solution for the first round? I was thinking about putting some damage dealers and I look for heavy damage so I can win the first turn.

I just came from duel-logs, top 10 hero card videos, trying to build a modern hero deck. I knew something was off when DHPE wasn't even in top 10 destiny heroes. Turns out those videos are so old DHPE didn't even exist yet. I was wondering where I was going to find more recent data, then saw this video was HOURS old. Jackpot!

Dank Law messed me up so much yesterday. I couldn't draw an out.
I’ve personally had a lot of success running Masked HERO Acid going into the Snake-Eye format. It just completely shuts down their monsters as spells shenanigans. Granted, it’s not perfect, you do need to play into the board a bit to begin with to get access to it, but it’s usually worth it from what I’ve tested so far.
Also if you run super poly, Nova Master is a good way to out some Fire King stuff without destroying it.
Just when you think the Meta has you down and out, just hold out for a HERO to save the day.
How does the new flame wingman work? Is it to get out sunrise? Or could you get out a different card with it
Any level 7 or lower E Hero that cannot be normal summoned/set from extra or main deck. You could get NEO bubbleman or poison rose if for some reason you wanted to. It will mostly bring our level 7 or lower fusion monsters though.

Yep when i see the new meta is putting stuff in the graveyard yah dark law is the calling hear. I love me my E heroes heck it won me lots of matches but i wish we have good back row supports to protect our fusion monsters. As what i do i just plan good random spells and traps specially traps to protect my fusion cards. Also i'm surprised we have link summons for E heroes but not for synchro version.
With droll being a common main deck handtrap I don't think Hero is that good, like, what do you do if get drolled?

a comment for DPE, also all opponents monsters lose 200 ATK pro any HERO cards on your GY not only heroes... also AHL count too and many players frogot about it

Came back to Yugioh after 20 years of not playing and come in to xyz, links and disgusting otks. I went to a local with my vanilla hero deck and got absolutely decimated. My boy put me on your channel and I've re-done my deck. A big problem ive gotten is the winged dragon of ra spehere if i have 3 monsters out which you normally always do with heros. Anyway to get around that or does hero just loses to that?
Sphere mode/lava golem and kaijus are always gonna hurt Heroes unfortunately. If you are really worried about Dark law being tributed then you can try to put your extra mali on the board with the mask change set. They probably won’t sphere mode the mali and once they sphere mode your real threats you can mask change the mali and make your dark law then.
Try to keep your favorite contact for when your opponent has already committed a few of their resources to the board. Then even if you get hit with the ball you can atleast bring out a monster that destroys their cards and is indestructible and cannot be returned to the deck.
One of the only real counters to that is any card that prevents tributing like mask of restrict. But you would still need to draw it and it turns off your increase and cross crusader and prevents you from summoning plasma so it’s not really the best thing to play

If you dont get the hand right in the beginning you're screwed
I would do one thing different. before you summen your Cross Crusaider, I would special summon your Malicious and special summon Denier with Cross Crusaider, that way you don't have to use the Denier effect and have a small follow up for the next turn. Also, Wake up needs at least 3 warriors.
Wake up only need ms two. One E hero fusion and one or more warriors. You can do more then one, but it isn’t necessary.
one thing i would say is before you fuse off your liquid and neos... proc the mali in grave... dont be me.... dont draw into mali...

bubble man requires no cards in hand. and Extra deck space is way to tight. not to mention in order to do anything with HERO you lock yourself into only being able to summon HEROs
Adding on to @DarkLawYGO we lost Norden which was the most consistent way of making shark. Instant fusion is now also at one. Now you would have to rely on having tin goldfish and bubbleman or one instant fusion for mud dragon which sucks. Also we had soul charge back then. It’s a lot harder and less consistent to actually make the shark now
You said the second combo was for if Dark Law wasnt good in the match up tbf, so its cool if Dark Law would be better cuz you'd just make it anyway 😊 but annoyingly, Getting Nib'd on the DPE effect is a killer cuz itll force you to Pop your own Token and their Nib and then its just Trap vs a whole ass hand going second 😅

It works, but mask change is better than 2 in a pure hero deck since you don’t need to discard and it can be used on all of your hero monsters, including the link monsters. Mask change 2 only works on monsters with a level and the masked hero you summon must have a higher level than the one you sent to the graveyard so you can’t use it on mali to make dark law.
