I remember when I visited Colorado and they had gas stations that were half regular gas station (pop, chips, candy, etc) and half liquor store. My mind was blown as Oklahoma is still in the dark ages with our liquor laws. Crazy!
Yeah you can only get six point in liquor stores. But we voted recently to get liquor sold in regular stores like Walmart.

Ahhh so envious! We're still a ways from legalisation here in New Zealand but it's definitely on it's way - we're very much looking forward to it! Hope Alison felt ok that evening (edibles can feel way different from other methods) - thanks for another great episode :)

For all of you that ever want to go to Boulder, I would suggest that you go during Memorial Day weekend and participate in the Bolder Boulder 10k walk and/or run. It's a great time, you get to run/walk with 35,000 of your new best friends! The race ends in the CU stadium, which is really cool!

We were just there.... and can't wait to go *back* ASAP. I'm sure you have this in your plans already, but make sure you goto Rocky Mountain National Park and hike the trail to Emerald Lake. Our friend took us on this hike and it was absolutely stunning. In fact, I can connect you if you'd like. She is an amazing person/world traveler (she has been everywhere!) She lives in Boulder and would be a great friend/contact if you'd like some insider info about local hikes or off-the-beaten path type stuffs.
Oh man! We already left CO, BUT we did go and hike in the park! Stay tuned for the next vlog :D I don't think we made it to Emerald lake, but we definitely saw lots of pretty frozen lakes along the way 😍

I've been to three different ones and they were all very different/with their own unique branding and ambiance. In Boulder I visited "The Farm" which had a very homey/earthy type feel. In Denver I visited two - my favorite being "The Green Solution" and it was like the Apple Store for weed!

Next time you're in town I would recommend Karing Kind which is about a mile north of Boulder.
Great selection, great people, chill environment, and lower taxes because it's not in the city limits... it's also Boulder's first Rec dispensary.
I'm glad you had a good time here. Boulder's been my "hometown" for the past 15 years and its an amazing place to live. You guys should also plan fan meetups at the places, you visit. I work literally 2 minutes away from Avery Brewing Company and would have loved to meet up. Maybe next time ... ?

It is much more regulated than I thought it would be. I thought it'd be people walking down the street, smoking weed and using it in public. Interesting to see the process that they use. Good video.

Hate to disappoint you, but Mork & Mindy was filmed in LA. They did go to Boulder to do the opening montage and for certain outdoor scenes that they could use many times, like Mindy pulling her Jeep up to the house, and the street where Mindy's father's music store was supposed to be.

The exterior of the M&M home is located at 1619 Pine Street in Boulder. The owners have grown trees around it to discourage photography, but you can still tell that it is the Mork and Mindy house...

I love Colorado, Boulder isn't one of my favorite places, so many yuppy college kids that look down their noses at others. I like laid back places where everyone is accepted, Estes Park is nice. I don't mind the smell of weed & think edibles are great if you can't smoke, cigarettes stink anyway.

Maybe the fact I can get it freely over here in the Netherlands made it never intriguing to get it. Plus, I've seen a girl I used to go out with a lot turn into a zombie because she needed it EVERY day. I know I'm going to get shot down in flames here, but,,, my ex partner was a daily weed smoker. Had been since her teenage years. The mood swings, loss of memory, mild paranoia and watching the most intelligent woman I've ever met slumped and stoned every night was one of the most saddest parts of my life. I'm not judging, just, well life is pretty crap with a stoner. You stop being a partner around 10pm and become a carer.

As a decades long cannabis patient I was really sad to see you guys treating a low-dose edible as if it were something to be ashamed of using. Do you have any idea how much safer cannabis is than alcohol, which you guys revel in drinking (sometimes to excess-- by your own admission) in almost every video? You even went so far as to smuggle hard liquor onto a cruise disguised as wine. In the US alone there are 88,000 deaths directly caused by alcohol every year. Cannabis use has never killed anyone. It is, in fact, impossible to overdose on cannabis. Also, the term marijuana is racist. The Spanish name was chosen by Ainslinger and Hearst to whip up a racist frenzy about Mexicans and associate them with cannabis. I beg you to do some research and to never present cannabis from the outdated, misinformed "Refer Madness" perspective again.
I am as pro-responsible drug use (ALL DRUGS) as you will ever find but I take issue with this crap that weed has never killed anyone. You're correct in perhaps no one has ever smoked so much bud in one sitting that they die from it but people do die, either directly or indirectly from its use. Stoned people cause auto accidents, may leave a towel on a stove and burn down the house with someone in it, etc...
A handful of provable accidents across the country compared to one drunk driving death every 51 minutes, 24/7/365 still shows that cannabis is safer than alcohol. It doesn't matter how many people do or don't die from alcohol to make my point valid. You stated no one ever died from cannabis use and that is provably wrong. The end.
As I wrote, I am 100% for responsible use, decrimanalization, or legalization- whichever is decided. I imbibe maybe three or four times a year and am solidly behind any adult who wishes to do so at whatever frequency works for them as long as they are responsible users who do not put others in harm's way.
My point is that people who have died because of "cannabis related accidents" (which are so VERY few and far in between that there are NO statistics) are freak accidents which may not even have anything to do with cannabis use. Most American law enforcement officers are stuck in the Reefer Madness mindset and often slant investigations to prove what they believe. Alcohol, on the other hand, is an easily provable addictive killer. Cannabis is not addictive and the latest studies show that cannabis actually has protective properties to the lungs and brains of users. For example, tobacco smokers who also use cannabis are MUCH less likely to get cancer than tobacco smokers who do not also use cannabis. Doctors strongly objected when Ainslinger set his sights on making cannabis illegal and fought against him, but he made up stories with no basis in fact to force the anti-cannabis laws. I, for one, am tired of the lies and misrepresentation of one of the most beneficial plants on earth.
All right, you're right. I should have originally said that nobody ever overdosed and died using only cannabis. A handful of people over many decades have died after using cannabis due to freak accidents, although I can't name a single person or anecdote, and I'd be willing to bet that you can't name one, either. My point remains valid: alcohol kills far more people than cannabis. I'm just glad that our society is finally beginning to see that alcohol is the more harmful drug.
