- On the streets of New Orleans, word begins to spread about a mysterious new pill that unlocks superpowers unique to each user. The catch: You don’t know what will happen until you take it. While some develop bulletproof skin, invisibility, and super strength, others exhibit a deadlier reaction. But when the pill escalates crime within the city to dangerous levels, a local cop (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) teams with a teenage dealer (Dominique Fishback) and a former soldier fueled by a secret vendetta (Jamie Foxx) to fight power with power and risk taking the pill in order to track down and stop the group responsible for creating it.

In as much as it was an imagination, one thing teachers SOME teachers forget to acknowledge is that never pick on a student especially in front of their peers. They will always end up making you look stupid.
I went to a school that had a ton of abusive teachers (and never doubt: that IS child abuse). I would've loved to have seen something like that happen JUST ONCE.
When the quiet kid been called for not raising his hand finally had enough in math be like
Teacher: 😑
the first line was fire
If I ever did that to my teacher I'd be thrown to the principal's before I'd get out the desk.
Ong tho Teachers be Like

Wtf.... I dont even know what that means. I've tried every possible situation in which your sentence could make sense, and still cant seem to find out what the fuck it meant.

I wonder what Robin power would have been. Maybe she would the had super strength or super intelligence. Hey super intelligence is a useful power. Another ability she could have develop is the ability to play any music with any instrument. Hey we can guess since they did'nt show her power in the movie.
People that take the pill get their powers from the animal kingdom for example, the robbery suspect was camouflaging because he got his power from the chameleon and art got his power from of course the pistol shrimp. There is no animal that has the ability to play an instrument lol
@@quitbeinsilly1062 what kinda animal set them self on fire ? Mgk was on fire! So????
SDR3088 we humans and other animals have thermoregulation and thatswhat helps us keep warm but MGK with the help of the pill could fully extend that to the point where he could combust like in the movie.
SDR3088 same with the ice scene. She cooled down her body temperature and was freezing until biggie turned up the temperature inside the place but when the control panel was shot, it dramatically cooled down the place and she eventually freezes to death
SDR3088 u get it?
This is my fav part every time she rap
Put on captions no cap 🔥🔥🔥
Whats the name of this song?
lyrics please
That Chika?
Chika's rap. The actor is Dominique Fishback, and Chika herself is the one sitting next to her. (The one that gave her the beat.)

Just what we all need... Another woke film.
Same i feel Dejosh Reed Your making it Seem like there are dozens of these Movies Black panther,Coffee and Kareem,Ma not that much to really Name
@DeJosh Reed
Or they just don't like it
I wouldn’t say it was woke as much as someone clearly decided they needed to shoehorn some scenes for the character of “Robin” into the movie, and it felt way out of place. You could cut this school scene out of the movie and it wouldn’t make a bit of difference. Somebody was working very hard to weave a “rap will save her from the hood” storyline into the movie, which felt out of place and corny AF when you consider what else was going on in the movie. Foxx and JGL were good as usual, but that script and some of the things they added, and things they didn’t add, have this move a weird feel to it. It’s ok if you’re bored and want something new to watch, but it could have been much better.
@@bigt2079 i think this was really good dont understand why you feel it needed to be cut out and the best part is she didnt not one racial slur in her rap i alot of respect for ppl like that. But whatever im glad it was "shoehorned" in.
@@bigt2079 Actually, in the movie Robin is a character who is an anchor or common sense character. She's the only one who is "innocent", which is why she's a child. She doesn't take the power drug, and she acts as sort of a moral compass for the other characters.
The school Sven was mean n to introduce her, her hardships, her struggles, and the extent other characters in the narrative can push her and test her before she goes from passive compass to active checker. She also serves a dual purpose to mirror the main character's daughter, his driving force to see his daughter returned to him, and how he thinks his daughter would act of she were with him now.
So cringey
Wow my hype for this movie died with this trailer.
Ps: I am brown before the haters descend on me and call me racist or whatnot
Wait I don’t care if your brown and I don’t want to be rude but how did the hype die this goes so hard
Aisling true true
DeJosh Reed right, I think so many people have started to see black people for stuff that was deemed “wrong” like dropping out to become a rapper. Nowadays the stereotype of a rapper is that one black guy who only cares about drugs, sex, and Gucci, whereas it really started as something way deeper than that.
The movie has enough action to recover, but her rap scenes do seem to derail the fast pace of the film. They really don’t seem necessary, but someone seemed desperate to add a “rap will save this young girl from the hood” storyline to the movie, and it felt all kinds of out of place.
@@bigt2079 [SPOILERS ahead] I don't think that a movie is supposed to be fast-pace from beginning to end, that's difficult to enjoy. Other movies have shower scenes or fancy dinner scenes to break up the fast-pace.
This is just my opinion, but the "rap will save this girl's life" is more than fitting in this movie, which is definitely not about gaining powers through an experimental drug. It's about the stories of a good father, a good daughter and a good cop who make questionable decisions to do what they believe is right. As for rap itself, it has saved and continues to save lives: lots of people manage their depression/suicidal thoughts thanks to it, not just the artists but their audience too. So if nothing else, rap would help keep someone's mind afloat during trying times. But there's the very realistic potential of becoming a famous rapper and make tons of money the way a lot of artists much less talented than Robin do nowadays. If I'm not mistaken, Jaime Foxx discovered Chika/Robin on Instagram, and now she's in this popular Netflix movie. The movie's pointing out how far people can go if they invest their time and energy into their talent instead of going the sheep route of working for a system not meant to see the people thrive as Robin raps in this clip. That's a much needed message to spread in 2020.
