I really appreciate this video and feel bad for not leaving a comment sooner. I purchased this generator a few days prior to your video coming out and was starting to second guess my purchase until I saw how you put this thing to the test. At the time very little info was available. I just used mine on a hunting trip and it was awesome having the ability to heat water with a bucket heater and take a hot shower after sweating all day. One friend said mine was twice the power, way quieter and a third the cost of the one he owns. Really hard to beat. Another great video. A 50 lb. generator that can run a large RV is amazing, it may be a little loud and you might have to add gas more often than I'd like, but making it portable for us older folks makes it a great option.

Great review as always - personally, I like the sound tests that you do. This looks like a great unit, but a little loud for many of the places that I camp. I would only be running a small 9.2K air conditioner - so maybe not too bad of a noise level at that low draw. I'm interested in how its cousin will compare.
Looks like the unit pulsar is using for their new generator. This really only makes sense in dual fuel like the pulsar as the run time is too low on gas with the small tank.
Besides the ALP, is their an all propane generator? Id love to see a brief case size design like this, no fuel tank, propane only. Not only that but the compression ratio can be adjusted for the propane, making it more fuel efficient and lighter than a dual fuel. The ALP gets this done but at too low watts. Something around the 2200-2500 starting, 30 hour run time, propane only sounds like a sweet machine.
Your meter shows 60hz. Your website and CZcams descriptions show 50 hz.

Do you think this is asking a lot out of such a small engine? My concern is at a true 3000 watt pull the fuel tank may not be large enough to support it very long.
I like that it seems to push the limits of the brief case design.
By comparison I have a Westinghouse igen4200 which was one of the first open frame inverter generators that pushes 3500/4200 al@212 cc if memory serves me. But it's much larger.
What's the estimated run time per tank on this?
At 25% you should get around six hours. I think it’s pushing the limit if you were to run it at 100% all day keep it in that 50% I think it will be just fine.
The higher rpm is how they’re achieving this rating, but it does sound a little louder at around 80% Load
Are any of the plastic side panels insulated. If not, you might be able to covered them with foam insulation sheets quiet and down.
They are insulated, but not with the thick ones

I watched this vid (like all the rest of your vids) when it first appeared and was very impressed with its overall performance. I decided to go ahead and order a unit but when I read the specs it’s frequency of 50HZ instead of the normal 60HZ. Doing some research what I discovered was AC units, refrigerators and other appliances would not be happy with 50HZ. I was wondering what your thought was on this, it’s got a 4.5 star rating on Amazon and no one star reviews. Almost all of the 2 star reviews mentioned this shortcoming. I did notice on your gauge it read 60HZ. Thanks for any info you could give me.

It’s best if you treat your fuel before putting it in the generator, premixed like a 5 gallon jug then you just add it to the generator as needed already treated.

A Standard 1500 W heater would work perfectly on this generator.
The most important is how strong is the engine. If it is 212 cc or more is very good…???
How much oil and treatment to add. Does I matter where does the treatment oil go and where does the gas go?
You should read the instructions to know exactly how much treatment to add, but most treatment can be used for gas and oil. It just depends which one you go with.

The engine is powerful enough to hold the rated output of this generator with proper maintenance. These engines can last a very long time.

Are these products used on engine type 4 stroke?
The oil you use in this generators are usually 10 W 30. Conventional oil.
