- Aus dem Archiv des bekannten Eisenbahnfilm-Produzenten Nick Lera werden Sie in dieser Produktion aus 1991 zurück geführt in das Jahr 1974, als die Indonesische Staatsbahn noch eine bunte Sammlung alter Dampfloks betrieb. Zur Sammlung gehörten die ältesten aktiven Gelenkloks der Welt, die letzte Dampfstraßenbahn, zwei Zahnradbahnen im Dschungel, über einhundert Jahre alte Dampf-Schnellzugloks und seltene Maschinen in exotischer Umgebung. Diese einmalige Dokumentation wurde damals auf 16 mm Farbtonfilm gedreht, gerade rechtzeitig bevor die faszinierende Dampf-Dinosaurier für immer von den Gleisen verschwanden.

Even in German,that was an excellent video,as the important data came through! Those engine builders did well,as the Indonesian climate isn't too good for steel,and the monsoons keep things soaked! Beyer,Hanomag,O&K,Sharp Stewart,etc,plus Alco,and Baldwin,led to an interesting variety of locomotives! Thank you for a beautiful look back,at once was! Thank you 😇 😊!!
