First of all, you don't need to apologize for anything. It's about what YOU want to collect. Like Plastic says "Collect what you love, love what you collect." The new setup is fantastic. It gives you alot more room to display your figs. Much❤&👊(respect) to you, bro. ✌.

It's so nice to see that I'm not the only one / collector who has serious storage issues. I have just 1 room with stacks of containers in my room and closet and I have bins I'm gonna be putting boxes into. Collecting is like a long game of tetris.
It looks great! The OCD nature in me would have put the detolfs on the ends, with the shelves in the middle (two on each end).
Someone else mentioned to maybe use the bottom shelves for your comics. If you collect hardcover or paperback trades, I would put them on the bottom row.
Also, kudos on getting curtains. Sunlight can fade your figures and artwork.

For extra shelves in the bookcase just take one to lowes and they can use it as a template to cut a piece to fit. Had to do that before, and I'm pretty sure you can get the extra shelf pegs there too in their furniture hardware section. Just a suggestion bro. Awesome vid as always

Nice! Next time you go to Ikea check out the dioder light kit. I put the RGBs in my detolfs and it's great. The remote can change the colors. It's like $35 and you can ziptie the cables to the frame.

I watch because I don’t have a lot of friends who collect as aggressively as I do, so it’s fun to watch others. You don’t owe us anything, and it’s your channel - do whatever you want! :)
You need to take a sample peg and a shelf with you to Home Depot or Lowe's and just have them cut you the right size, and then paint it Black. The sample pegs will let you know how to match it with the pegs they have there.

With the extra shelves at the bottom why not get some acrylic shelves so can showcase more of your figs? Tho I personally hate bottoms of shelves bc I feel like no one can “see” them so I utilize mine by putting books or blu rays down there ....

It’s a great setup! I do like how everything is on one side of the wall and is categorized. Get rid of the toybiz magneto. I need to get detolfs soon but with my setup I will need to rethink how I would place them
Hey Josh you should check IKEA, I know you didn’t buy the units from there. But here in Canada if you go to customer service and tell them what you are looking for they just give you the pieces. They salvage the pieces from other defective units. So I would measure the shelf and go in and see if they have any black ones laying around you could get and they always have pegs. Just a thought man.
They don’t even charge you for the pieces either, well at least here in Canada they don’t.

In my detolf lights, I just put a strip of hot glue and pressed them to the bottom of the shelfs and ran the wires through the hole at the top,its a tight fit, but it will work. I tried double sided tape, but it lasted like 2 days.

Your set up is awesome!! I’m so jealous 😂😂😂! For the empty spaces, I would go for a few 1/4 scale figures. Cause they’re very eye catching. But the line is too expensive to fully get in... but idk, just a suggestion. Other than that, great set up! Loving the Mesco’s

Very nice. The Ikea detolf lighting (Dioder) is fairly simple to set up. You can place the LED strips a few inches from the front of each shelf, and run the wires down the front right metal pole (and some zip ties are handy to clean up the wiring clutter). Or you can go with a cheaper alternative LED on Amazon. I made the mistake of trying out the color LED's Dioder set from Ikea, which was a big mistake and headache. The color LED's from Ikea don't provide enough lighting to show off your nice Hot Toys, the color is very cool (compared to the nice warm white light of the normal Ikea Dioder), and cabling is much larger and quite an eyesore. So switching that out is the next minor project for me. Gotta get done soon as they're bumping up the ESB Boba Fett & Vader release dates! Love seeing your collection, looks very cool.

Hey Josh, first time writing in, just wanted to say love the videos man! On the video explaining your collections and what your doing with it; makes sense to me. Honestly, each collector goes through it I think. I do, I know that! It's your collection at the end of the day, and honestly you have to do what makes you happy. I don't have the kind of cash for Hot Toys or Sideshow right now. But it doesn't stop me from collecting what I like and displaying them. So, take it with a grain of salt and move on. And, I like the new set up. Spreads it out and looks really good!
