    For a family of 4 with 2 kids, this is perfect for us. We can all sit well close when driving and all sleep comfortably at night! For a compact size van with full maneuverability and easy parking everywhere, without a fixed bathroom is something we are totally willing to trade off.

      @strangerpalooza  Před 2 lety

      yeah that's good, these vans are never one size fits all so ultimately folks need to decide what works for them and what doesn't

    Dude, the real difference between storyteller and all other vans, is the volta system, you can be in the heat and humidity of florida, unplugged, and have the air conditioner running for 12 hours, then you run errands for one and a half hours, and the second alternator dedicated to the vo,ta system recharges the batteries to a 100% again, and the beast model even has an autostart that runs the motor automatically on high iddles and recharge the batteries when they get low, for when you left your pets inside for more than 12 hours with the air conditioner running, so it won't stop running until you run low on diesel (the beast mode runs on diesel, unlike the ford transit mode, that runs on gas)...any other feature I'd say that it is complementary to the volta system, very few other recreational vehicle can ru their air conditioner that long, only a winnebago model that also has volta system, dont remember the exact model of winnebago, but I know that one of them has also volta system..

      @MrQdcooper Před 2 lety +1

      It’s the Winnebago Travato that also uses the Volta System but there not 4x4 or AWD

    The Storyteller now on the Ford Transit AWD chassis would be a perfect home on wheels for me. Thank you showing it. I would love to see a Promaster version with AWD someday. The extra van width would be awesome. The gentleman who gave the tour is pretty sharp and very knowledgeable.

    Thanks for this video. I love the large garage, flexible cabinet configurations, and overall flexibility the storyteller van offers. The stowable shower is awesome. Tiny enclosed bathrooms rob an already small class B of valuable space when you might only be using it a couple of times a day at most. I love that the stowable shower allows for multi use of the space. Just brilliant. Also love that you don’t have to set up the bed everyday if you don’t want to. So much to love in this little rig.

    Good review...only thing I saw that was new and not mentioned is that the Max Air was repositioned from center to the right side to give more room on the roof. Nice to have an owner give his perspective on using there van too.

    I love this. I’ve been researching for a while and I think I’ve found the one. Now I have to win a lottery. But seriously, I can’t believe what the Volta system can provide. Next time I would like to see how the toilet works. If it is a cassette, do you have to lift the whole thing out? That would be quite heavy. Finally, I didn’t notice if the windows open. Thanks again.

    • @strangerpalooza
      @strangerpalooza  Před 2 lety

      YW, there are windows that open (in the back and in the sliding door I believe) I've never used a cassette toilet however depending on which one it is, typically they have a cartridge that you take out and empty into a toilet

    Thank you Mr. Palooza, great video. Just to finally understand that the 12 kwatt battery in Storyteller translates to 1000 ampHr, for that alone, was worth watching the whole thing. My big beef is, even with Transit, still too narrow, I am willing to give up the AWD capability to get a Ram Promaster which is multiple inches wider. I think I will go with a Promaster because of width. Any ideas if Storyteller will do Promaster?

    • @LibbyRal
      @LibbyRal Před 2 lety

      right - what design - just looks like an ugly mish mash. Not sure that the chopped up shower/toilet offers enough flexibility for the open space. Extra seating for company on a rainy day won't happen often enough to make up for a gerry -rigged bath. All the other applications require a lot of work if you need to use the commode. The best feature is the hidden lockable 'firestick' storage

      @@LibbyRal having a separate tiny bathroom in an already small class B space actually chops up the space even more. Having this multi use, integrated space completely opens up the feel and sight lines in the van.

    • @LibbyRal
      @LibbyRal Před 2 lety

      @@fmtien , I think it's too much work for the trade off of sight lines. I have advocated for multi use bathroom space - creating a system that supports removable cassette storage. Also, an additional sink in the bathroom takes up valuable space.
