- How do you express yourself when you're an introvert? I set myself a challenge to record a new video for my channel to overcome some of my introverted personality traits. This is the first video I've posted on this channel for some time so thank you in advance for checking out this video and/or my channel. If you're a fellow introvert, here's a high five 🖐️

Love the new trailer, Stef! Also, thank you for the inspo on the Qantas museum in Longreach on your main channel- I finally got to visit it on Sunday and absolutely LOVED it! What I expected to be a little 2 hour quick tour turned into a 5 hour nerd fest for me, and I even did the wing walk on the 747 (a LOT steeper than it looks!). Also took a trip out the day before to the Age of Dinosaurs museum in Winton (Coolest. Place. Ever.) & took the obligatory pic in front of the Qantas sign at the very first airstrip. God, I miss travel! Stay well!

Hi Stef, I am an introvert also... the best explanation I have heard about introverts vs. extroverts is that extroverts gain energy from interacting with other people, whereas introverts drain their energy with these interactions.
Anyway... looking great for 50 mate! Keep being you, I'm here because I enjoy your candid, authentic, and interesting content. I'm currently doing a full lap of your main channel for the same reasons.
Thanks for sharing the process, I'd actually be interested in a bit more of this stuff, ie a vid on script writing, filmography then a vid on filmography and editing etc... I'm not saying change the direction of the channel, there are other channels for that, but it would be some interesting insight into behind the scenes 😊
hey, fellow introvert! 🖐 i usually watch all your videos the moment i have them in my feed, but reading our personality trait in the title made me click even quicklier. i like the new trailer and find it quite interesting what you say about "introvert youtube creators", because i often had that in my mind when watching your channel. i could never imagine me doing what you do so well, exactly because i'm afraid of judgment from others (especially when recording yourself in public) 🙃 i hope to see you flying EYZ soon again and wish you a speedy recovery!
Hello back to you 👋 Yes the fear of judgement is very real for many of us. That’s why I like videos like this, hopefully helps us like minded people realise we might like being alone, but we’re not alone. Thanks mate.
I reckon a lot of CZcamsrs are introverts (myself included). Speaking to the camera is very different to speaking to a big group of people in real life. Anyway, keep making good content. ✌️
I've always found the difference between introverts and extroverts is how they recharge themselves mentally. Introverts tend to feel revitalized by spending time alone, engaging in solitary activities, and reflecting internally, while extroverts gain energy from social interactions, external stimuli, and being around people. However, it's important to understand that this is a spectrum rather than a binary distinction. People can exhibit traits of both introversion and extroversion to varying degrees, and their position on this spectrum can shift depending on circumstances. How one feels can differ from day to day, influenced by mood, environment, and specific situations. Some days, even the most social person might crave solitude, while someone usually more reserved might seek out company and excitement.

I've thought about publishing my own vlogs in aviation, scuba diving and the raft of other hobbies I have, but I just can't stomach it. As much as I'd like to reach out to the decent people in the world, I can't stand philistines and insolence. You're a brave man, Stef, keep publishing for all of us introverts and don't perish!
I can relate to that feeling, I just try not to put pressure on myself. I love to make and share videos, but if I’m feeling overwhelmed or anxious I don’t beat myself up if I fail. But every time I complete something I feel really good, and it’s that I chase. Good luck with your journey fellow introvert 👋

Fawkner Park is very nice. Last time I was in Melbourne I stayed w/ friends on St. Kilda Rd. next to the park. I walked the park almost every day - very peaceful and rejuvenating.
Hello Stef, most who know me would call me an extrovert, and yet I don't have the guts to post videos here or really anywhere. But you do, so bravo and you have my most sincere thnx for showing more guts than me.
I watch both your channels, mainly because I enjoy your online company, and your subjects are interesting. I’m also an introvert, and my own videos don’t have me in it (so far).
Same age, same hobbies, same Sony audio recorder, same video editing software. You talk so well on camera though, compared to me. Fun video!
Excited to see what this next chapter looks like for you, Stef. And I liked seeing what goes on behind the scenes to make your videos. Keep up the good work!

I’ve tried filming on park benches more than a couple of times, and all of them look out onto a bloody path where the tripod is in the way!
Interestingly I find the being on camera in public way worse when I’m on my own. If I’m with anyone else out and about and I find it way less awkward!

As a introverted student pilot that was always interested in cinematography, your words are a godsend and motivates me to maybe perhaps start making videos too :)

Awesome video Stef. I am very introverted too, and am also a content creator like yourself. I am still very early in my journey, and extremely self-conscious when I am out film a trip review. I'm slowly getting better, and finding that doing Live Streams from Melbourne Airport is helping my confidence. Talking to a live audience was something I wasn't sure I could do, but am getting better with each stream we do! Keep up the great work, and I can't wait to see what you get up to next! Thank you for your words of encouragement!

I think as an introvert also, youtube can give you the ability to pretend to be an extrovert without the audience in front of you. I would love to do youtube also but I dont feel mentally I could handle any negative feedback I may receive.
Is there a possibility you will be able to fly again??
Its not introversion, I'm just scared of talking to women
Off topic: In looking around a map of Melbourne to see where Fawkner Park is I noticed that Bellbird Park has a flying fox viewing platform - sounds amazing! (At least for those of us on continents where we don't have flying fox bats.)
