Cooking up some chocolate chip resin spheres

I had an idea for a cake stand, and this is the first step of it. Since it worked out so well, I'll be making the platter portion next.
Then it will just be a matter of turning a few pieces of wood for me to attach everything to!

That's a great idea Brother! I was concerned about the exothermic reaction melting your coco... glad it worked out!

I was a little worried about it too, but figured then I'd just have melted chocolate blobs encased in resin, which might be just as interesting to look at!
I do have to seal the large one though. Some of the chips were right on the edge, and so a few tiny spots aren't covered in resin. You really can't tell until you hold the piece and the chocolate starts to melt in your hand!
