Camp america also offer a month of travel post-camp as part kf the deal. Did you guys take that up? If so, what did you both get up to??

We didn't go for the pre-planned options that Camp America provide but I know others who did and had a great time. I did however spend 3 or so weeks travelling with a group of girls I met at camp in my first year. It was really great fun and a brilliant opportunity but of course it is quite a financial commitment.

Hi just wondering, do you have a group of kids by yourself or are there 2+ counsellors looking after the kids? Sorry if this doesn’t make sense

You’ll be in a group with 1-3 other counsellors depending on how many kids are in your group, you shouldn’t ever be alone I don’t think :)

Which organizations are the best ?

I would say Camp America is the best for support because they make it so simple but I have hear that other organisations are cheaper but it is up to you to sort out more things independently. I would say use CA for the first summer and then if you are returning to the same camp then perhaps Camp Leaders or something else :)
