Ive tried so many methods to stretch out my hat and nothing has worked. This is soooo simple yet it provided just enough to stretch my hat to the perfect size. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you. I had a Conner hat with cotton band that had shrunk a bit after washing. This method straightened the crinkled band and it is no longer painfully tight.

It's probably actually easier that way.
Pro tip: Doing this sitting down is just as effective as standing. Pro tip #2: Find a guy with a big head and pay him 2 bucks to wear your hat for a few hours.
