Virginia Creeper Part 1 Abingdon to Damascus

  • The Virginia Creeper Trail is a Rail Trail that runs 34 miles from Abingdon, Thru Damascus and ends at Whitetop and the VA/NC state line. This video is the first half of the trail from Abingdon to Damascus. Part 2 will be out shortly after and will show from Damascus to Whitetop and back.

    Cool, i am in Abington now at the Red Roof Inn and seems the start is only 3 miles from RR, not sure if i should take the shuttle up or ride both ways? I just built a new hardtail but before that i havent ridden in close to a year

    Thank you. Very nice scenery. Id like to live there. If you could live anywheres along that land, where you you suggest? Near Damascus?

      Abingdon would be a good place I believe. Damascus is more of a destination town.
