Please reaction we are the world
The group originated in Minnesota, 2 members. Adam (beatboxer) and Rob (beard and glasses) still live in Minnesota. Tim (Bass) grew up in Texas but now lives in Nashville Tennessee. Austin (Thin one with long hair) Grew up in Georgia but now lives near Nashville Tennessee as well. Nashville is known as "Music City" and many country artists and singer-songwriters of about any genre move there for opportunities. Chance, (dark hair, beard) Grew up in Alabama but now lives with his fiance' in Los Angeles, California.
Austin's voice is platinum.
Rob's voice is butter. (Blue-eyed soul is safe with The Beard.)
Chance's voice is gold.
Adam's voice, on those rare occasions when he sings, is a bell.
And Tim's voice is magma
The video was shot in the Austrian Alps. Home Free has the best harmonies of any band I've ever heard. These guys are phenomenal.
They indeed are phenomenal! And thx! My info source was clearly wrong about this :p
@@YBPlaysMusic yes they shot this video in Austria near Salzburg
@@YBPlaysMusic - This is at Kramater Alm, Grinzens, which is just south of Innsbruck (not Salzburg).
How Great Thou Art (O store Gud) is a Swedish spiritual song with lyrics from 1885 by Carl Boberg (1859-1940) which was first printed on March 13, 1886. Carl Boberg wrote the lyrics after experiencing a thunderstorm. The music is a Swedish folk melody. It is one of the most widespread spiritual songs in the world.
This is a beautiful hymn I grew up singing. It’s actually based on a Swedish poem about how great our Creator is. It’s beautifully sung by the boys. They filmed this in the Austrian Alps when they were touring there. Austin (reddish hair) is the high tenor and is from Georgia. Tim, the bass, is from Texas (he recently cut his hair). Chance (short dark hair and short beard) is the baritone and is from Alabama. Rob (glasses) is the tenor and is from Minnesota. Adam, the beatboxer, is the founder and is from Minnesota. Adam had long hair for awhile and then cut it to donate it for cancer survivors. They are tremendous singers. They can be serious or silly but always sound good. Good reaction boys!
I would suggest some of their other tunes, such as, "When a man loves a woman", "American Pie" sung with the composer, Don McLean, "In the Blood" or "End of the road". They are all good and they mix it up pretty well.
This is a mash up of two beautiful Hymns “how great thou art”. and “it is well”! Adam and Rob are from Minnesota, Tim fromTexas, Austin from Georgia & Chance from Alabama!
Home Free has way more than songs of faith. Try "the Butts Remix" for some fun
Thanks all for reacting to this song. The guys do a terrific job with this song. I know you have all the info you need on all of them so I will leave it there. If you get a chance here are a few suggestions...Can't Out Run You...Chance leads...In The Blood...for some Christmas when you are ready...Full of Cheer...really fun...Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer...hilarious...Cold Hard Cash...fun...Tons more to come when you are ready. Thanks
Brothers in Arms is a must by Home Free. Powerful!!!!
Kematen in Tirol in the Austrian Alps, is where we learn they are in the 'from the vault' video they did on the filming of this.
Thx for the info, Angie! Than, it's pretty possible that part of the mountains in this video, are part of the Dolomites in Italy :)
This is probably my favorites! They sing together so beautifully!
Thank you. Really enjoyed your Home Free reaction.
Tim from south Texas but lives near Nashville,TN now
Austin from Georgia but lives near Nashville now
Rob from Minnesota and still there
Adam Rupp from Minnesota and lives there now
Chance from Alabama and lives in LA now
Thx for the info, Lisa! Good to know! :p
It’s so crazy that they live so far apart! I suppose they live together most of the time, when they’re on tour.
@@smurfrise I would also assume that. It’s not easy if there’s a big distance in between! But during lockdown, they did provide some nice solutions for that😛
Chance lived in Nashville for a few years. The Home Free video of Sam Hunt's House Party was shot in Adam Chance's apartment in Nashville. Members of Chance's former band members from Street Corner Symphony also appear as extras in this video. They are still based in Nashville and appear with Avi Kaplan during his Nashville residencies. They came in 2nd place of the Sing Off season 2.
Whatever your religious beliefs are, this is simply a beautiful song. I loved all of your reactions. I remember growing up in my southern Baptist church in South Carolina and hearing this song. Austin is originally from Georgia, Tim is from Texas, Adam Chance is from Alabama, and Rob and Adam Rupp are from Minnesota I think. So some are from the south and some of the aren't. Again thanks so much for your reaction.
Home Free - Everybody Walkin This Land, Helplessly Hoping, Hillbilly Bone - 3 of my favorites. Okay, so all of them are one of my favorites.
Every time I hear someone sing this song, I am reminded of the greatness of God - what an amazing creator we have! Thanks for reviewing it.
hehe I'm not sure I'd classify "The Life of Brian" as about the Bible. I will say it is an amazing parody of Christianity from Monty Python.
Home Free began in Minnesota but is now based out of Nashville. The members live in Minneapolis, Nashville, and Los Angels and are from Minnesota, Texas, Georgia, and Alabama.
They still say that they are from Minnesota at their concerts
@@mettesrensen6116 Yeah, I just saw a video where Adam was talked too. Their mixer is in MN still. I know that they have been doing a lot of filming in Nashville as of late (when they came out of quarantine). I know that 2/5 live in Minneapolis and 2/5 live in Nashville with the last guy in LA.
They did a behind the scenes of this one…..it’s cool.
You need to do …”WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN”…… Austin shines 🔥🥰‼️💥.
You should check My country 'tis of thee, Adam has an even longer singing part in that one, and it' s also really, really beautiful!
I am enjoying your reactions to Home Free, would love to hear more from you. They used to end their videos with that little speaking part, but the newer one lack that. Thanks fir the reaction !!
Nobody does it like Home Free! Beautiful!
Congratulations on 10k subs!
Loved the reaction! Thank you! 🥰🙏
I love that Adam Rupp sings on this song... Check out Do You Hear What I Hear. I can guarantee you that you've never heard the song like Home Free does it..
One story said it was the Swiss alps & another said Austria. Some where in that region. Someone said they recognized the small church but I don't remember what they said. Take your pick.
Three covers of theirs that are a must, MAYDAY, HELPLESSLY HOPING. A few more are RING OF FIRE ft. AVI CAPLAN, THE BUTTS MEDLEY, AMERICAN PIE ft. DON McLEAN. I promise you won’t be sorry!! Austin Brown is 1st tenor, Rob Lundquist is 2nd tenor, Tim Foust is bass/baritone and is able to sing 5 octaves higher than his lower register, Adam Chance is also bass/baritone and has a higher range and Adam Rupp is the beatboxer but not only a beatboxer. He’s literally world class and he also has vocal skills. These guys are amazing.
Those high notes you hear while Austin is singing lead is Adam Rupp!
So, in the still shot that you mentioned with them all lined up (I think they are all 6 feet tall?), from left to right (near to far) you have Adam Chance (or Chance to limit confusion with the original/other Adam) from Alabama who is a baritone covering bass when the bass takes the lead, Austin Brown from Georgia who is high tenor and did lead on the final verse, Tim Foust from Texas who is bass (with five octave vocal range) and did lead on the first verse, Rob Lundquist from Minnesota who is tenor and did lead on second verse, and Adam Rupp from Minnesota who is beatboxer and tenor who did lead for the bridge transition of "It is Well With My Soul" in the middle. Try something with Adam's beatboxing, like "Man of Constant Sorrow" or "My Church" or "Hillbilly Bone" because he is one of the best in the industry. The commentary at the end was more common on their earlier videos and not as much anymore.
Congratulations on 10k. This is my “go to” song when I need a lift. Their version of Amazing Grace is also wonderful and my favorite version out there.
Adam Rupp - Minnisota
Rob Lunquist - Minnisota
Tim Foust - South Texas
Austin Brown - Georgia
Adam Chance - Born in Alabama, grew up in Florida
Beautiful harmonies, great reaction! So happy to see more Home Free with you
This was filmed in the Austrian Alps. Rob (tenor) and Adam (usually beatboxer, but singing ‘It Is Well’ in this video) are from Minnesota. Tim (bass) is from East Texas. Austin (high tenor) is from Georgia. Chance (baritone) is from Alabama. Adam was growing his hair long in order to donate it for wigs for child cancer patients.
Love each of you individually, but collectively ya'll are just such fun! How did you hook up, and where are each of your from?
We home fry's love our home free 🍟❣️💯👍
Amazingggggg.... angels voice... *sungguh besar anugerahNYA* (indonesian language)
Patriotic and religious songs are a staple of country music
"How Great Thou Art" is a Christian hymn based on a Swedish traditional melody and a poem written by Carl Boberg (1859-1940) in Mönsterås, Sweden, in 1885.
They also can kill it with R&B and hip hop- Butts Medley! “ Thou Art “ is old biblical English for you are, Du Bist, etc.
LWAYS AMAZING YOU MUST SEE WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMEN THEY WILL BLOW YOU AWAY 💕💕💕💕💕
Das Gut!
God bless us
You want Lord of the Rings!
Check out Peter Holland & Tim Foust (the bass for Home Free) Misty Mountain
That is also a capella
Honduras 🇭🇳
Welcome Nestor! Would love to go there someday! ;)
It is the Dolomites. You can see the three sisters in the background. The are from Minnesota, Georgia, Texas, and Alabama.
Earl previously from Voice play also looked like a bass from his body type and he had a super high voice. He actually joked about it on his group's intro on the Sing Off.
How Great Thou Art is a gospel song.
Austin is from Georgia...Adam Chance is from Alabama...Tim is from Texas...Adam Rupp and Rob are from Minnesota
How great Thou art. Thou is God.
If you want to hear Rob Lundquist sing lower, watch the duet with him and Austin Brown on "Nessun Dorma" (Two Country Singers Try Singing Opera). They're both classically trained but Rob's training focused more on opera and although Austin took some opera, he was mainly trained in musical theatre (watch the video of "Bring Him Home" or "Unchained Melody" on Austin's channel). Another, older rather obscure Christmas song Is "Joy to the World Hosanna" - I guarantee you've never heard this version of it before!
Tim is from Texas, Austin is from Georgia, Chance is from LA, Rob is from Minnesota, and Adam the beatboxer I'm not sure. lol! Great reactions guys.
This was one of the first that they put up.
Tim is from Texas, Rob and Adam are from Minnesota, Austin is from Georgia and Chance is from Alabama
Minnesota, Texas and Georgia
States of Origin
Austin Brown - Georgia
Tim Foust - Texas
Rob Lundquust - Minnesota
Adam Rupp - Minnesota
Adam Chance - Alabama
Filmed near Salsberg, Austria. The Band is from Mankato, Minnesota, USA. The bass is from east Texas, one is from Alabama, one from Georgia, and two from Minnesota.
Adam Chance and Tim Foust sing bass. Tim can sing in 4 different octaves. Rob sings alto. Austin Brown is tenor. Adam Rupp is the beat boxer.
Congrats part 2! This song is great, beautiful scenery and the mountains in the video are great, too. Your clips at the end with everyone just chilling and talking are fun! I'll be back for part 3, can't wait. I would love to see you react to Avi Kaplan's (formerly Pentatonix bass) new song he just released the other day called "First Place I Go" Here's a link if you choose to react to it czcams.com/video/LRpGURbB3LE/video.html Thanks YB and friends! 💚💚💚
Tim Foust, the bass, is from Texas, Austin Brown is from northern Georgia or Alabama, Rob, the beard and glasses, and Adam, the beat boxer, are from Minnesota. I am not sure where Chance is from.
You gotta check out "Ain't Goin Down Till The Sun Comes Up"...amazing
This video is sponsored by... Ha-ha-ha! It was funny!
Home Free is my favorite group. Marcelito Pomoy is my favorite solo artist. Please react to him singing The Prayer on the Wishbus. You will be shocked. He is amazing. No vocal training. Raised himself on the street from the age of seven. Please watch soon...enjoy! 👍👍👍
Sorry it’s propaganda to you! It’s just beautiful to us! They allowed it to be sung at my husbands funeral and it is comforting ! Try listening all the way through without comments not about the harmonies or vocals
Tim Foust (bass) is from Texas; Austin Brown (tenor) is from Georgia; Rob Lundquist (tenor) Minnesota; Adam Chance (baritone/bass) ?
Rob and Adam Rupp are from Minnesota. Tim is from Texas, Adam Chance is from Alabama and Austin is from Georgia. But who cares? We're all Americans. We all believe what we believe. We all love each other no matter what. We're gonna defend each other no matter what. So freaking deal with it. This man to my side is my brother. Deal with it.
This was filmed in Austria
Y'all really autta listen to "Hopelessly Hoping" and "Go Rest High on that Mountain"!!!
Yesterday’s video, Woody!😉 thx for suggesting!
You have to react to Two country singers try to sing opera. Rob is a classical trained opera singer. Austin musical theater.
Tim Foust is from Texas
Rob Lundquist and Adam Rupp are from Minesota
Adam Chance from Alabama
Austin Brown from Georgia
Check out Rob ( big guy) and Austin dinging Nessun Dorma. Rob studied opera and will blow you away.
They are from Tennessee. Pentatonix is originally from Texas.
You need to CK out Man of Constant Sorrow. These guys are amazing. Tim Foust is bass and lives in Nashville, Austin lives in Alabama, Adam Rupp lives in Minnesota, Adam Chance lives in Las Angeles, not sure where Rob lives.
This Video was made in Austria Tirol
AUSTIN'S FROM GEORGIA, TIM FROM TEXAS AND CHANCE FROM ALABAMA; ADAM & ROB ARE FROM MINN.
Goodness.....the reactor with the long hair, beard and hairy chest is quite cute.
I think Tim is the only one of these guys that comes from, lives in, Texas. 😉
And theory proved lol
What theory?
Must check out Dimash & the vocal boys Queen medley
It's an old Church hymn. It's talking about the Creator.
Can you react to Home Free Dive Bar Saints
I love hearing and watching this hymn sung by Home Free.
Since you are familiar with Pentatonix, you know that they are also A Capella.
I much prefer hearing PTX when Avi Kaplan was with them.
Since we are so close to Christmas, perhaps you could react to PTX and Avi Kaplan singing Silent Night.
Avi was their original basso profundo and was with them for 6 years.
I think you might find his voice in this song delightful since he is a deep bass.
He is the one in the black beanie and shirt.
czcams.com/video/sme8N2pzRx8/video.html
How Great thou Art .. means how great you are in English. It's celebrating the grand splendor of God's creation. Never mind us, silly people lol... but just look around and know that it's the result of a designer and creator. One that also took a moment to design & create each of us.
South or North Carolina I think
Please hear Elvis sing this song is fantastic🌹🇧🇷 There are version recorded in srudio and live
this is shut in
You should check out home free butt's remix 😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🍟❣️❣️💯
The song is a Christian hyme.
Austrian alps

czcams.com/video/fJmzS_Redh8/video.html
The song doesn't reference Jesus. Just God. Many religions believe in a God.
You don't have to "convert" and become Christian to listen to Christ's words and teachings. You don't have to believe he was God incarnate... Just believe he came, saw, died and did so as a man. Then, he rose up. There's no record of his body. And remember, they were SURE to want that. But nope, gone. And look around you... not at the things man made really but understand that everything is MADE by someone. Then look to the sky, and know that someone made that too. Someone wants to refute it, ok fine. Ask them to gather 100 monkeys and 100 computers. See how long it takes them to randomly type a sentence that is coherent. You'll then understand why randomness didn't do this. It was design by a designer.
Instead of making fun of Christianity, maybe you do need to be converted.
We’re not making fun of Christianity. Don’t take it too serious, we’re just having fun and making jokes from time to time.
Music great but you all mocking christians is shameful
Sorry, but mocking Jesus is too much.
