I came here for the wave, and left with a master class of chrome script at the end, nice classic video and wave, time to paint 100 waves like this then try to get my own style going.
I love the 80's videos...the good old days of Vhs and Beetamax, These guys back in the day...we were all slim. 20 -30 years later got the belly, some of us not me. But we all age.....thumbs up to the person who uploaded it from there collection as that is we can do for the young ones to learn.....Brilliant Video
Terry been following you since the cocaine cowboys were in town,😅 I still think your one of the pioneers, Myself Im in 64 years ,I pick up a copy ofvA A in 82 ' 83' ? With cacys duck reclineing.was hooked back then .terry I had to do salads till I puked .but dropped 50lbs.feel better .take care Terry.stay fit younger gen.needs to see the pioneers. All glory to God.
no need for a respirator. A dust mask filters particulates and water-based paints do not have toxic fumes as does polyurethanes. You really should wear a dust mask if you're painting all day unless you have a great ventilation system or painting outdoors.

@sped17373 Yep. Lots of people have opinions and many of them are simply wrong. Fumes are too small to be filtered with a dust mask. They are basically a few atoms strung together and not a huge clump of particles like a smoke particle or plastic that was atomized and floats for a second in the air. So, any solvent based paint needs a respirator. Water based... you are fine with a dust mask but it doesn't hurt to also have good ventilation. I don't but I don't paint often.
@no tozog I see you've inhaled too many fumes because you apparently didn't understand what I wrote. If you are using ORGANIC VAPOR-BASED liquids, you need to use a full respirator. If you are using WATER-BASED liquids, you can get away with using a dust mask only. What part of that don't you understand?

A few months ago the moderator of an airbrushing forum called me "foolish" for wearing only a dust mask because I only use water based paints--I wanted to scream at him that there were memberes of that forum (and others) who sprayed urethanes on a daily basis and wore NOTHING.....yet he was calling ME foolish?!?

i tell customers upfront - anything more than a name on BLACK is triple price. It takes at least triple the time to paint any detail on black. Back then ppl weren't so fussy about being on white shirts. Airbrushing wasn't very common, so it was exciting to have a shirt airbrushed. Nowdays however, with computer technology, they want everything dirt cheep.
hes useing a paasche vl3,, but badger cresendo 175 ,bottom feed are bulls! dont clog to easy,easier to clean and dis essemble ,u can get a evo iwata for$ 65 68 $$ .but if u got $105 to 115$ get an iwata revolution ,eclpse is what he prefers there.video.
I think this just sucks...not the video (vid is awesome) but the fact they are on youtube. I built a collection of videos that Airbrush Action was selling at $39.95 each or 3 for $99. i have something like 20 - 25 vids! I can say though they took me from a basic airbrusher to someone that was just as good if not better then the other airbrushers in my area. The vids are very helpful and now my kids are using them so it was worth every penny! Everything can be better with custom paint.
