@@Marshin209. nearby share was a google’s product available on all Android devices, Samsung had quick share. After both companies agreed to create joint solution, Samsung’s quick share was retired in favor of a rebranded and reworked nearby share now called quick share
I have some questions when will the bard will be available on other Android device other than pixel and s24 series , when quick share will be available on other Android devices
Now if only Apple could play ball and have this work or even just have an app you can open on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac then this would be the perfect airdrop replacement
I can't use my samsung device quick share to send or receive files from non samsung device quick share app. This is useless app. Nearby was the best app
Nearby share in all Android devices is replaced with quick share. So you can use quick share to transfer files to any Android and Windows device, irrespective of their brand/company.
Well this is indeed Nearby share. This new update was a partnership between Samsung and Google where they combined both of their sharing tech into one now called as Quick share across all Android devices
I think nearby share was available to download to windows. I have it in my laptop . But i have no idea whether it's been automatically updated to quick share or not.
I'm just wondering, can you create this app and publish it on the app store? You will eat a good market share in the apple ecosystem allowing Android and apple devices to share files! Sending photos to an iPhone it's very complicated, and a Google photos link is not the answer.
Sharing from Samsung devices has been broken since the update. The devices are unable to see non-Samsung devices. Please work together to fix it.
Yes 💯
@@want_the_top8827 Seems to be fixed for me since the last Google Play System update. Idk if it's the same for you
Yes
I have same issues
@@Hemkrishthakor i return my phone to old near by share and it work
Where is the difference between Nearby Share?
there's none - current quick share is just a union between google's nearby share and samsung's old quick share
Nearby share is Samsung only

Wrong @@Marshin209.
@@Marshin209.Actually it was the opposite. Now the two services have been merged
So basically like airdrop. The stuff I randomly got airdropped on my bus was wild
Are you dumb enough to leave ur airdrop status on for everyone?
There are few compatibility issues with windows.
Samsung Quick share dans tous les android c'est incroyable
ok
I have some questions when will the bard will be available on other Android device other than pixel and s24 series , when quick share will be available on other Android devices
basically like air dropping
Nice
although its taking long time to show other device
Google: New Feature
Apple: AirDrop💀💀💀
Thnx
Don't forget samsung devices!
Why would you remove the option to share multiple audio or video files via BlueTooth in the new versions of Android?
Now if only Apple could play ball and have this work or even just have an app you can open on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac then this would be the perfect airdrop replacement
next phone is definitely going to be android, but if it’s going to be a Google one, that I’m not sure of yet.
Airdrop has been copied successfully 😂
Samsung did it first
My phone Sends file fast but receives very slow, please help me.
Intel Unison?
The old UI on Samsung of Nearby Share was way better
Google no le muestres mi historial a mi mama😢
Nearby share was a good name.......

It’s like airdrop
Yeah, it's been on android for a while now.
Google pixel has a WAY better phone battery than Apple's.

But what if you have a tablet
I use it between my Pixel and Tab S8. Works flawlessly
It even works with windows laptop...
Quick share is not working, it doesn't send files via nearby to android
hi
Quick Share for Samsung Share 😃
I love Google
Me too 😊
Me also
I love google.
Like you find this feature kind of similar to nearby share and somewhat useless too
I liked my own comment , because I thought so
Just a rebrand
Funny thing is that Nearby Share is rebranding to this because they want to reduce the "confusion" lol.
Quick share allows you to send files through a link even if they aren't next to you unlike nearby share
Well this is indeed Nearby share. This new update was a partnership between Samsung and Google where they combined both of their sharing tech into one now called as Quick share across all Android devices
Slow
Hey Google we want a dash cam next
How is it different than nearby share?
Faster. That's it.
Give that one
How do I do it with Android 14 + Windows 11? :o
I think nearby share was available to download to windows. I have it in my laptop . But i have no idea whether it's been automatically updated to quick share or not.
You can do it through nearby share by connecting both devices to the same network
Balls
But how can I share files, videos and photos with an iPhone?
No
Thank Tim Apple for making it almost impossible for non apple devices to interact with apple devices
Using an Android phone is currently one of the best workarounds for this issue. Also you could just email the file to yourself.
@@EDSpaceBoat But you can't email hundreds of vacation photos.

make an ios app for this and add it to chrome browsers as well.

Apple fanboy spotted watching Android videos to complain about similar features.
This is more like AirDrop
it sucks
