nope there's nothing wrong with jump resetting in 1.9 as it doesn't affect your kb that much. I can easily beat jump resetters as 1.9 relies on movement and aim and I'm around ht3 skill in sword without jump resetting

the whole point of boxing is to win, it doesn't matter how it's done, before boxing there was gapple and people didn't stay in comboes back then either, it's not an "unspoken rule" of boxing if from the start nobody followed that rule until the gamemode actually released, if you want clips just /duel someone or ask people in chat to send boxing duels with no running because you're a pretty known player
no? the whole point of boxing is obviously to combo the other player, you can literally see this through mmc implementing a combo counter on he scoreboard
@@lasthope9853 the main point of boxing was never originally just to get comboes, lunar client itself has a combo counter, just cuz you're using lunar client doesn't mean that they expect you to combo the other player in every gamemode, it's just for people that want to see how long their comboes last

just because you cant get a good combo on someone because they run or jump reset doesn't mean you should hate the entire veriosn, there are other gamemodes in 1.8 that actually require skill and take time to master, just like 1.19, 1.8 is a competitive verison and there are always people who disobey the rules, even in 1.19 i've seen people run from combos and such, so you shouldn't make a whole video on why you hate 1.8 because of ONE simple and quite small thing. Perhaps you should try playing other gamemodes other than boxing and maybe don't spread hate on a version because of one gamemode.

jump resetting has ruined pvp for quite awhile now, I queue sumo and there's just a guy spamming his spacebar taking no kb while I am. however, in 1.19 running is obviously expected since it's different from boxing (it's a HP gamemode and things shouldn't be decided on one combo) whereas the whole purpose of 1.8 boxing is to combo the other person. jump resetting has ruined non-rod gamemodes such as boxing, sumo, stickfight, pearlfight etc. the reason why I made this video was to discourage people from jump resetting at all in 1.8 because it's just annoying to play against
ps: I always lose sumo winstreaks and boxing winstreaks to some guy who is decent at jump resetting

theres a good chance mmc is mmc and makes everyone fly out and they aren't jump resetting (plus jump resetting should only reduce knockback by a little bit if timed right, and not fly people out of combos. I personally jump reset in trades)
