    Great, reliable stations! The pricing at 48¢/kWh is better than at other sites I've seen. I sure wish we'd start seeing these in the southwestern deserts.

      Canopy is nice! Recently went to Florida from ATL and driving 100mph in my EV6GT and 95 degrees out. Charged from 10% to 80% in 20 minutes @ mostly 237 KWH but the car fan was screaming and I turned off the vehicle to not draw cooling from the system. I also opened the hood so the hot air could be pushed out. On the way back there was a tree making shade and it made a huge difference for me and the vehicle.

    We make lots of trips up and down I-75 from FL to OH. I've lost count of how many times we've made the trip in our Bolt EUV, but those new charging stations have been a real blessing. Now that we're traveling in an Ioniq 5, we're taking advantage of the two free years on Electrify America, but after that, we'll go back to the nicer EVgo Pilot/Flying J chargers. Hopefully, by then, they will be a little less expensive as they get more useage.

      They are making steady progress. Yes. I-40 is the best shot. I-10 has little to no activity, nor the northern routes. There is some spurts of I-20 which may come into play, but since I-81 & I-40 both look to be targeted, it seems the cannonball run may be a factor? Regardless, my wife and I hope to take the LYRIQ from Wilmington, NC to LA if practical this year's end. We will see....

    This year we took the Model 3 from Tennessee to Florida. With the Pilot/Flying J expansion it's quite conceivable we could take the ID.4 next year. Good to see I-75 getting this level of attention. I will be watching closely to see how these stations are maintained and hold up. My hope is that Pilot/Flying J will want their EV stations maintained as well as their gas pumps. This should be much better than EA stations in a WalMart parking lot where WalMart aren't as invested in maintaining the EV stations.

    Why don't they make one of the chargers a NACS port to make the change easier?
    Then Teslas could use this facility,and slowly change to all NACS.
    They could have put 4 dispensers on the island and had 8 connectors.
    This looks like a first class operation...

    Walter - that covered bridge is a ways away - like 90 miles (E of Atlanta, S of Athens, GA). Interesting that there is a covered bridge in GA, though, so thanks for pointing that out. Do you think you could squeeze 2 “fender charge plug” cars into that center stall side by side? A great review! Best score yet from you?

    • @thenetworkarchitectchannel
      @thenetworkarchitectchannel  Před měsícem

      You're right ! I wonder why there is a wall size murale inside. I assumed it was a local attraction. I should of validated the location. Thx for chiming in. As for the spaces, two cars can use the two center spaces. They just need to plan their parking right. A front fender charge port would need to nose in and hopefully it would be on the side the other car is not using. With the other canopy layouts this is not an issue. It is just this type "C" layout. As for top score, that currently is held by the CirK in Wilson, NC with a score of 44.

    • @thenetworkarchitectchannel
      @thenetworkarchitectchannel  Před měsícem

      Great question. GM has a few programs. This station and ones like can be found in the PFJ mobile app by filtering for CCS plug type. Also, GM is heavily partnered with EVgo. Most of the new EV go stations are GM branded and can be found by filtering the EVgo app for stations over 300 kW.
