Glass Wall Explodes on Television News Crew During Hurricane Dorian Coverage on Outer Banks

  • While covering Hurricane Dorian in Nags Head on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, reporter Andy Pierrotti and the photojournalist working with him, Luke Carter, had a glass wall shatter on them. Wind blew it out at the hotel where they were staying. The explosion of glass came as they were getting ready to go live.

    in an earlier video he says that glass wall is "protecting" him from the wind. l-o-l.

    I just cant see that to be possible. Winds ain't that strong as seen while he was reporting. 🤷
    I lived through hurricanes in Puerto Rico and it takes a lot of wind and I mean A LOT of strength in the wind to break a window or make it explode like that.
