    Whenever I hear this opening I imagine laying down on grass with my hands behind my head watching the clouds slowly move across the sky. Very dreamy.

    The beginning so sad, almost tragic, each time a friend of mine dies I hear this music. In the finale a female choir, voice of true angels, bringing the entire piece to a perfect balance. Debussy never faded away; he is alive in his music. Many thanks for publishing this wonderful performance!

      I feel that Debussy is composed by catching the transition of sound with the eyes of a pure child.
      I think that we who live in the present need such a mindset.

      BRAVISSIMO, Maestro Pierre Boulez!
      Your, Taste, and ever so deep under-
      standing make you THE GREATEST CONDUCTOR!!!!

      ---- AVANT-GARDE MUSIV!!!!
      Thus, you "open windows" for them!!!

      Capolavoro assoluto di Debussy
      Musica molto suggestiva. Rievoca molti ricordi nostalgici del passato e magicamente ci induce a rimanere sospesi in una particolare visione del mondo che non avremmo mai sospettato. Ogni volta che l’ascolto entro in un’altra dimensione mentale.
      Bravissima l’intera orchestra ed il direttore. Grazie Debussy!

    it's crazy how influential Debussy had been on movie music. this entire piece sounds like one or another moment from a John Williams' score or Ghostbusters or Cocoon, etc

    • @pozsoz
      @pozsoz Před 4 lety +1

      Well...all John Williams' scores sound like the bits of older music he plagiarized, I mean, "drew inspiration from", just listen to The Planets by Holst or Romeo&Juliet by Prokovief

      L’ascolto quasi tutte le sere prima di dormire… evoca in me antichi ricordi e suggestioni indefinibili. Non so come abbia fatto a scrivere un capolavoro cosí coinvolgente. Tocca le profondità del mio animo, fa vibrare in me energie quasi assopite, mi aiuta a rivivere importanti momenti di silenziosa contemplazione. Accompagnato dalla sua musica ho potuto scrivere articoli e libri per anni. Grazie Debussy, grazie a questa insuperabile orchestra. Tutto il mondo dovrebbe ascoltarla in religioso silenzio…

    • @alexandershaneyfelt4386
      @alexandershaneyfelt4386 Před 8 měsíci +1

      @@pozsozYou know that the Temp track for Star Wars was Holst right? Originally George Lucas intended on using Holst's Planets as the soundtrack but instead got John Williams to write the score for it. Naturally it had a very similar sound quality, because that's what was asked of him. Ain't nothing wrong with taking inspiration; if you listen to Classical music, guess what, a good chunk of what you're going to listen to took heavy inspiration from past composers and works. Certain pieces from early to mid era Beethoven sound like complete rip offs of Mozart because Beethoven idolized Mozart. That's just the nature of art - replicate the artists that you love until it eventually becomes your own.

    I listened to the first song. I found Debussy's idea great. It was exactly night that spread beyond the sound of the orchestration.
    Impressive melodies of cor anglais and horn that are called many times in the orchestra's mellow sound. And the atmosphere of the night changes little by little to wrap around you.

Furthermore I want for 💖My 💖At 💖Most 💖Admired 💖Jutta, that is my Psychologist, consecrate - composed by Debussy as well - La mer and this is due to the homonym the word mer in the language of the french is ( the Germans call this < Teekesselchen > ).
