We don't have uncomplicated dances like that on Strictly any more. If they were competing in 2019, the start and the end would be set in a medium sized fish & chip shop.
That was absolutely beautiful. Len is correct, no celebrity amatuer dancer should have danced it so technically beautifully. Sorry folks this is my very first time watching SCD. Now that I get BBC here in the states, I will watch SCD over DWTS.
Kara and Artem dance with so much passion. you can see the look in their eyes how much they care for each other. they are a beautiful couple, and they are both lucky to have found each other.
I love her as Dawn on Eastenders. She has come a long way since. Unfortunately, we don't get strictly here in the States. We hardly get any British shows or comedys!!!! Boo!!!!
That Rumba was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and deserved a perfect score of 40! Still haven't forgiven Craig for not giving it a 10! Kara still my all time favourite celeb in Strictly!

I'd really like to see the performance that guy Craig would award a 10. This was gorgeous, sensual and so well performed. Kara may be the best non pro dancer I've ever seen. I am a DWTS guy and always thought that Meryl Davis was the best contestant dancer ever, followed closely by Katherine Jenkins, but Kara is beyond compare. She should have had at least 4 perfect scores. So glad I discovered these SCD tubes.
Lets face it- we can hardly say that Meryl is a non-dancer. Katherine Jenkins wouldnt even come into the top 20 females for me across all SCD/DWTS series. 't blah Dlah below, Rumour Willis and Bindi Irwin were the best DWTS contestants ever since they had no prior dance training
Also from an SCD perspective, its difficult to suggest that any female contestant was more naturally prepared for every single performance than Alesha Dixon
+Aaron Wilkins Rumer did have training though, since she went to a performing arts school. At the very least she would have taken ballet, tap and jazz for a couple years. Bindi definitely did have natural ability, but you could see that Derek hid her flaws well with choreo.
Kind of ironic dancing the Rumba to Samba Pa Ti, but yes, sometimes all the elements come together and when they do they create something utterly magical and memorable.
it was the best rumba they have ever had but they annoyed me- knowing that Craig brought up the lift rule, why did they not correct it for when they repeated it in the final! Ridiculous. It did not deserve 4 tens if they had a lift and did not correct it for the next time

Sucks Artem can’t show off what he can do like what he did on Strictly cuz dwts usually gives him sucky partners. Tbh I kinda wished he stayed on Strictly. Dwts doesn’t deserve his amazing talent!

From a technical standpoint, I'd say Mya and Nicole Scherzinger were the strongest ever contestants on DWTS.

It was a great performance, but also enhanced greatly by having instrumental music. Singing would have distracted from the silky smooth moves.

Not quite as good as Rachel and Vincent's Rumba. Kara did lose her balance at one point. Second best Rumba of the whole series.
