What is Order Fulfillment Batch Picking?
Rather than picking one order at a time, batch picking involves selecting multiple orders and consolidating the items into a single batch. This is done by grouping together items that are located in close proximity to each other in the warehouse, thereby reducing travel time and increasing efficiency. Once all the items for each order have been picked, they are separated into individual orders and sent for packing and shipping.
