Back on the 450 and the secret sand tire!

I’m back on the 450 and running the new Dunlop MX14 sand tire. The day had its share of drama. I get my first flat ever from spinning a tire on the wheel and shearing off the valve stem right off the tube. My horn stops working cause the blade fuse came out. And a few riders take a sand nap in the big turn. Also includes a bonus clip of a full lap showing some cool GoPro telemetry. Overall a great day at The Moto Farm!

I ran that tire last year on my DRZ at the Sandunes. Son of a gun digs like an excavator. I even used it on single track and it did really good. Probably a little bit too grippy in certain single track circumstances

Didn’t realize that was the Dunlop. The tire I ran was a wig racing scoop 36. I think it was like 60 bucks on Amazon and it comes with a four mill inner tube.

Ok I was not familiar with the Wig brand or that 36 but dang it it nasty! They got some other chunky ones as well. Curious if it's a softer compound. This Dunlop is rock hard. I should have done a better review other than it's good in the sand. It's just so difficult for me to talk and run that MX track. It takes so much concentration I sound like a complete boob. @@mikecolesvids yeah, the wig is fairly soft. Which doesn’t promote very good durability but it does get amazing traction. They also have a nobby in there lineup. I may try at some point. Anyway, hope you enjoy your time in Florida because right now Idaho is cold AF lol.😂
