- A week to remember🏔️
Big Mountain skiers Jim Ryan, Marcus Caston, and MP Prefontaine spent a week ski touring across the vast mountain wilderness of the San Juan Mountain Range, in Colorado. It is a skiers paradise, accessed by a hut-to-hut backcountry touring route that links the towns of Silverton and Ouray, paying homage to the famous high alpine ski hut routes found in Europe🎿
It was the definition of earning your turns... but the world class views along this hut system were well worth it💪

its so easy to check out in a place like this, at $1000 day. its awesome.
For clarity - The are two popular traverses in the 'Juans: The Million (1,000k) Dollar Traverse & The 1/2 Million (500k) Dollar Travers. Named for the Million Dollar Highway the traverses dance around. Strange enough, the straight line distance from Snowbird (MC's home) to the top of Red Mountain Pass is almost exactly 500 kilometers...
how much does a trip like this cost?
a lot
over 1k a day not including Hut cost
Please stop promoting Colorado, haven’t you heard, it sucks.
'promosm' 😢
This subject matter sounds controversial...
Booo, you were at the two controversial huts built by NY’ers and Texans that are hated by everyone in a three county area, boooo.
