My favorite from the very first time I heard her on the radio as a kid. Olivia has blown me away for over fifty years with her voice, her talent, her beauty and her commitment to helping others. LOVE HER!!
What a wonderful woman, and what a gift to the world! An amazing, amazing woman who has provided me more joy, happiness, and smiles than is humanly possible for over five decades. She is sadly gone, a true bright star on Earth has been extinguished, but she remains, still, in so many ways. Olivia will still continue to give me joy, happiness and smiles, though it is bittersweet right now. How could I have loved someone so much that I never met? She was a true one of a kind from the very first time I heard her sing on the car radio at age seven ( she instantly became my favorite singer right then), and her beauty I saw shortly after on album covers, was an over fifty year innocent crush. Her voice, her purity and her emotion won me over from day one. This beautiful woman who early on knew how to work a camera, became a star with her t.v. specials, girl next door, humor and special guests won us all over. She changed singing styles that really showcased her chops, and the wardrobe changes just made her that much more sexy. But when you heard her talk, she was the same old Olivia. The world's sweetheart. Grease came along, and I felt since I first fell in love with her as a young boy in the early 70s, most fans were a little late to the party. I knew she was a one of a kind back then. But it is that incredible vocal talent, and the emotion she sang with, that no one comes close to me. She made my life special with her music. I will always love Olivia and how she makes me feel, just like I have for over fifty years now.
@@paulkane7771 Paul I am also a huge YES-fan. I use to say that folks who love YES-music are fantastic people. I've met so many before and after shows, traveling the country attending shows. I've had people from around the world stay at my house, who had never met in person prior. Always a great time with these folks. People who loved Olivia's singing and songs must also be some of the nicest people as well. So much positivity and positive energy came from this woman. She, her music, her fight, all of her efforts for animals and humans was always shining light in a world that always isn't so bright, and positive. She certainly made us all feel something special deep inside. Smiles , happiness and joy were always guaranteed with her and her music. She was a one constant for me, and will always be.
Great collection of live performances, studio recordings, photo shoots, deep cuts, and music videos👍 She was SO talented, her voice so versatile she could sing country, ballads, pop and even lullabies. What an amazing 50 year career👏! Commenting 2 weeks after my fav pop princess and her sweet, pure, lovely voice sadly went to music heaven to sing with with the angels August 8, 2022 🕯😇
