The zero gravity fight for me! It was so chaotic and the way Godzilla moved as if he was still in water was a good touch.

Did anyone see that Jared Krichevsky the creature designer for the film confirmed that Godzilla's evolution in the film was incomplete and he had to stop halfway through due to insufficient time? He deleted the tweet(Legendary likely told him to), but Godzilla will fully evolve in the next film and have all his bulk(and then some) back. Hopefully, he'll be taller as well.

For the next movie I would LOVE a prequel film about how the war between the kongs and godzillas started and a deeper look into it. It has lots of potential to be epic I think

I think Orga or Hedorah would be perfect as villains for a solo Godzilla film. Gigan would work better in another crossover where he and another monster team up to fight Kong and Godzilla.

As much as I like Gigan, he’s not a monster that’s worth a team up against him. If Wingard makes a more serious film It could be like a Heisei inspired story and monster like Biollante or hell even SpaceGodzilla. Also I would like a Godzilla and Rodan team up

I took my 7 yr old son to see Godzilla x Kong and the look on his face reminded me so much of the look on my face when I saw my first Godzilla movie back when I was his age in the 70's. That by itself was worth it. The movie was awesome and the G man and the big ape has another monster sized fan lol. Thank y'all so much for what DangerVille does and keep it up

You see that's why this movie is doing well. This movie is fun and safe for families. I have seen this film three times and so many people have brought there families. Tones of fun and actually funny. Like he said everyone is so grumpy and so are movies so seeing something fun and funny is good for a change.

I really love what they did with the movie, however I really wish some of the fight were longer. Specifically Tiamat and the end fight. I think they could have added another 10 min or more for fighting and it would still be a banger of a Godzilla movie!

I loved how the theme and story for jia and Kong rhymed. It was so cathartic to see how it ends.
I know big reptiles are harder to connect to compared to apes, but i hope Godzilla can get some story like that in the MV
I do think Goji could be loved that way . In Primal we had a lot of moments with Fang the T-Rex and she was always interesting to watch as well

My favorite bits are mostly all the Godzilla scenes as short as they were and the Kong and suko scenes were awesome as well. If they go the alien route have it introduce Gigan and some alien race that maybe involved Ghidorah. Or maybe introduce Biollante in some way if we wanna avoid the alien route for the moment.
Godzilla literally suplexing Kong in Egypt is one of my favorite parts of the movie. Showa era peak!
It was so epic just seeing them fight around the pyramids and the scale of it all. The suplex was just such a classic moment.
Imagine an hour long movie with a 200 million dollar budget of just the great titan war backstory. The Iwi's painting the drawings and the Kongs and Godzillas being wiped till only a few remained.
If anyone has watched the adult swim show Primal, I feel like if they followed more of that kinda story telling with no dialogue and still understand what's going on and follow. I think the scene when they finally introduced scar, did a good job of that.

I'd love a more Godzilla focused movie. Maybe there's something in his relationship with humans. He used to be worshiped, and had temples built in his name. Now he's attacked from titans, and humans. That could be why he's a jerk haha. He quits as the equalizer, and goes to hollow earth to retire. This causes the surface titans to rise in a rush to claim the thrown Godzilla left vacant. Monarch recruits Kong to reluctantly convince Godzilla to go restore order.

I really want to see Godzilla’s origins. The titan that ate a star is a really cool concept. Is Godzilla the only one that has atomic breath? I also really want to see them explore why Godzilla does what he does and why because killing titans who are classified as destroyers and destroying oil rigs. What’s driving him to do these things other than maintaining balance?
Short answer yes cuz it's actually better than most expectations
Maybe since Godzilla is so OP now, a bigger badder opponent might be tricky, so maybe they should get more personal with his fights. Between the ORCA and Skar King's whip blade, it's apparent that the titans are capable of being manipulated. Perhaps there's a special plot out there that features some kind of mind control thing that messes with Mothra or Godzilla himself.
Toho probably wouldn't let that slide.
Fyi, my first Godzilla movie was Godzilla vs The Smog Monster in 1979, & the King Kong 1976 movie, had that puzzle, the five scene special edition, snake, busting thru the wall, climbing World Trade Center, subway,& swatting planes on top of WTC. Love that movie, special place in my heart for it
I’d love to see a solo Godzilla movie vs Space Godzilla. Then a Kong movie where he runs into Biollante in the hollow earth. Then they have another duo movie vs Destroyah.
If anything, I would like the monsterverse to have Gamera be part of it. Gamera's backstory would fit perfectly into the monsterverse. Have a solo Gamera movie with Gyaos to introduce the monsters, and have a follow-up movie that finally has Godzilla and Gamera fight. People would definitely want to see Godzilla and Gamera fight on the big screen.

I completely agree with Joe (Goji Center) on every point he made throughout this video. I mean, he actually points out where critics feel this movie lacks and why it's good as it is. Like, even though a die-hard monster verse fan himself, he doesn't hesitate to point out where the movie is lacking and what we should expect from it before watching it.

14:08 mothra was always in the plan. The reason they had to use that other creature was become they were waiting for the rights for mothra since they didn't have it. After that very early showing they officially got the rights back to use mothra. Basically the other creature was just a stand in for mothra to show the how the movie would go down and hear feedback. That creature is also the same one in the final movie that is the light big big that jia follows to find the iwi tribe
I love you guys! I'm here for Godzilla all day everyday. Well maybe not everyday, but that's how strong my feelings are for Godzilla. I really wasn't that big of a Kong fan up until seeing Godzilla vs. Kong and his story really is established after seeing the new movie. It gives me a whole new level of respect for Kong and now we should be getting back to focusing on Godzilla's story more versus Kong's moving forward Mr. Wingard. Adam is such a down to earth dude who is a true fan of these beast and he should be doing one more movie for us!
I think Tiamat would have lived if it bowed down to godzilla. There is another higher threat that they are going for. I feel like this was more focused on Kong becoming king.
I did enjoy how godzilla and Kong played toss around with star. I do believe they will go for a monster similar to space godzilla for next film that will be the reason for godzilla's power build up.
They need to do another Godzilla stand alone, it's about time overdue
I have some ideas on how to make a godzilla centric movie:
1: have shimo healing up in the arctic after being tortured by scar king
2: kong stays in HE to help the other apes (maybe have a small appearance on cctv footage or something
3: have godzilla and mothra face off against a surface threat (biolante or something)
I have a hypothesis that the best Godzilla movies are the ones where he just wants to have a nap and the world conspires against him doing that, and GxKNE really delivers on that, and also absolutely passes the stuffing on the Bechdel-Wallace test.
Kong New Movie Title: "A King Named Kong"
Lived up to the hype as far as the action sequences go, but aside from that, as a movie, I feel let down. Maybe my expectations were just too high, but it failed at delivering a lot of what I was hoping to see. For example, The Skar King. He was surprisingly entertaining to watch and is actually my favorite MV villain to date, but what do we actually learn about him in the movie other than that he's a ruthless tyrant obsessed with conquering the surface world? Why is he such a cold-hearted psychopath? Was he always insane or did something trigger it? What's with his eyes? And most importantly, how in the HELL did he manage to capture Shimo in the first place? Having control over Shimo is literally what makes him a threat, she is his ultimate weapon, but we don't see or even HEAR squat about how he was able to obtain her. "This here is the ancient Titan Shimo. She caused the last Ice Age and is immensely powerful. So powerful, in fact, that both Kong and Godzilla must be given upgrades to stand a chance. But she is being controlled by someone who is less powerful than Kong and Godzilla. How? None of your business, clown, shut up and look how pretty the colors are."
With so many lingering questions, I can't help but scoff at the fact that it's working title was "Origins" at one point. We didn't see much of anything in that regard.

Basically she absorbs the storm in skull island, and infests the entire island with her biomass.
An island sized Biollante is what I consider a worthy threat for Kong, His army, and Shimo.

I saw this one idea on Twitter that most certainly won't happen but would be so dark and depressing if it did end up becoming a thing in the monsterverse..the idea i saw on Twitter involves Jia and Biollante and if you guys remember Biollante's backstory..youll understand why it would be so sad
Would be pretty neat if this franchise crosses over with the Pacific Rim franchise. Since the Kaiju are mass produced and travel to other worlds via dimensional rifts, it literally does give an easy excuse to explain the cross over.

Without a doubt a underrated movie universe. I'm glad it's finally getting some love. I guess marvel failing helped this series grow. Though I wish both could be good. I can't wait for the next one. Also glad to see a lot of kids enjoying this. So many laughing and pointing at the screen and a lot cheering for godzilla. Really good time seeing this film in the theaters.

Something I noticed, we spent so much time below ground, when the big fight happened on the surface. They seemed funny looking beside the building. I’d lost the scale of them throughout the movie.
Yes it did only problem fights could’ve been more epic and longer and skar king shimo and Godzilla should have appeared more with mothers too
Ive always loved Godzilla. I went nuts in 2014 when i seen that a new Godzilla was coming out. Been hooked ever since. Now that Marvel has taken a big dump its nice to have have Kaiju films.
At that point I believe that we need a break for Godzilla and Kong movies. Making a rodan solo movie or a mothra solo movie would be ideal after 2 movies with Kong and Godzilla combined.
I think they should break from GvK and have a G solo and K solo then a 3rd and final GvK then go back to the solo's and bring Mothra, Rodan etc solo movies.
Not for me. I was really hyped and thought this might be my favorite in the MV but after watching it I came out so dissapointed. This movie suffers from a horrible script and pacing. Skar King was a fun character but he comes in the movie one hour in the film which I thought was not okay. We needed more screentime with him and to find out more about him. Also, the Godzilla fight sequences were too short. There are some good moments like the Skar King introduction and Kong & Suko moments. This could have been a great film but poor writting made it dissapointing.
All I want from the next movie is a rematch somehow, someway between Godzilla, and King Ghidorah. Let them finally pay off those plots of after credit scene from King of the Monsters. Want Ghidorah to regenerate, and have Godzilla have a crazy battle during daylight where we see his golden glory against the king of the monsters.
To be fair, phosphora or however it's spelled kinda looked the part of getting titans to work together cause of the alien look with angel wings and white body

Okay so I'm still watching the video and no I don't agree with some things here, first point, Godzilla before he was evolved had some feats, but I believe he got in shape more after evolving, from colliding with Scylla to knocking Shimo down, Godzilla was backfliping and tumble rolling in zero gravity, bro?, what da hell, he pushed Shimo around, if he was moving with such force he wouldn't have stopped when he collided with Scylla, he would have carried her away the way he lifted Kong into the pyramid, then, no he didn't just attack Tiamat, he originally didn't aim his atomic breath at Tiamat, when she came out and roared, he roared back, if she had backed down, then problem solved, then after he injured her, he roared again signalling her to leave, but she didn't listen and thats when he had enough

Hey love your Contin on the Kaju monster verse world. My only question is I wish they can incorporate Gamera. Maybe there is some type of alien threat that’s too big for either Kong or Godzilla to Handel and Gamera is the only one being from space or something like that who is able to assist in handling a alien threat which introduces other alien threats out there maybe he can be some type of bounty hunter something like that in spaceand one of the aliens landing on earth and he tracked the alien down there down to there. I think I remember in the movie, they said the glaciers had a ton of radiation, and thats why godzilla went there and Tiamat was territorial and attacked Godzilla while he was making a hole in the ice to fit into. Not like Tiamat was just swimming around and then boom, godzilla kills her. She f*#ked around and found out
I was thinking that we should get a solo kong movie with the other apes in the hollow earth next. Since we already got minus one, and the monarch show. But GxK was mainly a Kong focused film. So I’m not sure about that now. But the next godzilla kong movie should definitely have a “army/war” type of premise. Them teaming up to defeat a bigger threat is gonna get old quick. And they NEED to show flashbacks or something from the war that they mentioned in the GvK trailer. I still can’t believe they didn’t include that in these movies

I honestly loved this movie. I even enjoyed the human characters. This honestly is the best monsterverse movie. I thought seeing Godzilla eating the radiation from a reactor was great.

For me my biggest complaint is how the movie seemed to switch in tone half way through, it was like Godzilla vs Kong for the first half of the movie. It had big monsters fighting but had a plot set out, I feel like the last half of the movie the just started adding whatever they thought would look cool. Now I don’t have a problem with either ways of making a Godzilla movie but the switch of tone put a bad taste in my mouth
I was also wondering if this writes off the Monarch series Hollow Earth Time issue?
The monsterverse should stay in its own lane, that's what made it special, not copy like minus one, but inspired. Now that we have our goofy film, we should go back to a serious tone like the 2014 one. Solo, intro shows the aftermath of the recent one, we go from there.
Destroyah should be saved up for when the monsterverse is ending. Maybe part 1 and 2, kinda like how infinity war and endgame came to be, but back to the serious tone.
The next kaiju I think could be Spacegodzila, Hedorah, Biollante or another original monsterverse kaiju.
-Spacegodzilla could be coming as an intelligent space monster in search of expanding his territory anywhere, stumbling on earth as a permanent home. The crystals could also be for him to gain more power for his crystal abilities.
-Hedorah, also an alien but coming from an asteroid. Is attracted to eating away at anything, waste, plants, eventually radioctive stuff that enhances its stages into something more formidable. Leaving toxic waste behind, spreading it everywhere, godzilla deals with it.
-Biollante is a special case since the monster was once a person, where maybe Jia gets pulled into a manmade plant Kaiju that's sentient which can also communicate with her. Maybe can hypnotize her into using her ability to enhance its own. It keeps getting bigger mutating it's form, plans on becoming the entire planet as just one organism. Can be emotional like the previous Heisei movie, where the doctor is torn on not in anyway have Jia get harmed in the crossfire because she's used by the plant monster.
-For another original monsterverse Kaiju could be fun for the team to take inspiration from previous films in the design now that we're cool showing off more previous monsters.
what I am thinking a lot about is the giant skeleton that was used as a bridge and it dwarfed kong. i would like to know more about that. and it could be used as an antagonist in the next movie, but that could be too cliché🤷♀
I do like the thought of a more serious movie. I feel like the human side is just explaining some "stuff on the walls" like you said, but a well laid out movie such as the recent planet of the apes trilogy or even Wall E (lol) where at times there is almost no dialogue is just fine. Not listening and strictly observing can be fascinating and at times needs no speech IF done correctly. Everyone can in a sense, like reading a book, come out with their own interpretation. I think that it would be a long shot but would be awesome 👌 no humans needed?
Watched GxK 2x it’s still really a fun ride. I’m so happy that GxK is a massive success tbh think the movie companies are slowly turning to our side with the Monsterverse since so far it’s been the longest successful franchise ongoing. Yeah I hope the next movie they’ll be able to emulate that success with the next film being Godzilla centric. Although aliens aren’t the only option from the film it seems like there’s also the antagonistic human factor involved wouldn’t be surprised if Adam wants to pull a Kaiju Avatar film of sorts.
Just seen it for the third time. In 4DX. And that was the best one yet. As to what the Godzilla-centric follow up should be? Simple : do the Titan War. We can have the Godzilla, other Gojira, Skar King, Shimo, other apes, Mutos, heck, even Ghidorah getting frozen). Plus, it has the de-powering effect you'd be after. Have Monarch further investigate the Iwi writings, find other ruins, finding other weapons, bones, etc. Have Rebecca Hall and Brian Tyree Henry narrate it. Firm up the lore...and have the final scenes show whatever the next threat will be...
What a swift, fun monster/sci fi movie. I even shed a little tear at the end.

I have heard Destroyah may be in the future but I do think that's a little soon for the next film. Since we got some original monsters for this film, I wouldn't be surprised if we see some other Toho monsters coming in. Wasn't there something of Mechagodzilla sending a message out into space in the novel? Maybe his species would respond or maybe they send in Gigan to kill Godzilla? Or maybe we'll see Mechaghidorah next.
Though since we already got build a mecha to compete against Godzilla... I wouldn't mind seeing someone trying to clone Godzilla and we get Biollante.
Either way, I freaking love this franchise. It had a rough start for me with Godzilla 2014 but it's just been getting better ever since. And GxK was fun.

I've seen this movie twice already. I absolutely loved it. I truly believe the next movie should be more around the origin of Godzilla. Do you remember the movie Son of Godzilla. Godzilla needs family too. And it would be awesome for Kong to help him find them. Mortha knows his beginnings and helps him as well. Some part of hollow earth is dedicated to Godzilla and family only. Some kind of way Kong kinda finds it and bring him home. But he needs Mortha help to convey the message.
