    I did this to my '19 after seeing the Whiskey video... Same 2 inch drop and did it just how you did this one.. completely removed both inner and outer ... It's still my favorite mod I've done to the bike ...

    Since I was changing my fork cans I was going to do the progressive shock 1” drop. I like the block 1.65” drop too. Tough decisions. Thanks for video

    @sikbaggers thank you for the great content you put out. Question: does lowering and extending out the fairing make handling any better because all that weight is lower and better distributed? Is the bike easier to handle when you walk the bike in off state?

    • @sikbaggers
      @sikbaggers  Před 5 měsíci +1

      yes I believe it does...With the additional fat tire I installed this bike handles like its on rails...we took it to Sturgis last year and it handled the corners out there like a dream.

    Steve, when you lowered the black road glide fairing 2" on video, you also replaced your headlight; which one was that? Thanks

    Hey Steve Great video, I have a 21' wheel (not fat) with Advanblack fender, and suspension is Legend Axeo for 21inch, should i take the 2 or the 3inch ? Thanks for helping

    • @sikbaggers
      @sikbaggers  Před 3 měsíci

      If you drop that with a 3 inch I would certainly run some bump stops on the front end..I would actually call Dave at DD and ask him...I havent ran a 21 with a lowered fairing but a lot of folks have so he would know better than me

      @@sikbaggers Thanks for the answer, I finally ordered the 2inch, hopefully I will be good, Do you have the link for the bump stop that you mention in your video, Thanks again

    Is there a lowering bracket for a 99 road glide?

  • @ericstiffler3167
    @ericstiffler3167 Před 5 měsíci

    What if there is a Custom Dynamics light bar mounted to the bottom? Will this still work or will the light bar have to be removed? This fairing looks so much better lowered. I’d be willing to lose the light bar if required.

    • @sikbaggers
      @sikbaggers  Před 5 měsíci +1

      i dont know how thick that bar is but you can always lower it, compress the front end all the way down as best as you can and see if it hits or comes close

    • @ericstiffler3167
      @ericstiffler3167 Před 4 měsíci

      FYI. The light bar attaches to existing holes on the stock bracket. The new bracket does not have these holes. I will figure out a mounting solution at some point. Looks to be enough room.
