Arsenal used to have a French midfielder who was renown for being a tough tackler, a hard man in the middle of the park, yet had a surprisingly good footwork and could dance out of trouble. First time I really paid attention to Fofana was when Arsenal were rumoured to be after a CM and Rice was the big name. Yeah, I dreamed of Rice but I didn't believe we would spend big to get him, so I looked around. Nobody heard about the Fabio transfer until it happened so maybe another transfer out from nowhere and what players would fit the criteria... Fofana was the name I was hoping for if we didn't get Rice. I see his CZcams and I am honestly reminded of Paddy Vieira. Big solid frenchman who would leave you asking for the numberplate of the truck that hit you if he ran into you but those feet... No Messi for sure but for such a big solid dude... Impressive!
For the reported fee of around £25m it's a no brainer. You'd expect a player like that to cost at least double that.

One of the most underrated midfielders in Europe. I remember watching a France game where their midfield was struggling and he came on and changed the game. He is available for a bargain price too. It is a no-brainer but I really can see Arsenal passing up on him.

Partey is quality but I felt like he lost a lot of explosiveness post injury. So noticeable when you watch his older clips or even Fofana.
Thats called lack of match fitness, fully fit Partey is easily our best midfielder when in form.
Fofana looks like a yaya toure kind of CM, If he is cheaper option for partey replacement I will take him at Arsenal.

Excellent vid, I agree I really think we should be going in and signing Fofana. I do think it would be best to also keep Partey and give him time to adapt to our system. I also like the other French midfielder Kone, I think we should also try to sign him so we can develop them for when Partey and Jorgi eventually move on.

You bloggers are something else. The English premiership is not like any other league. U could be very good and extremely talented in other leagues but become a flop in the Premiership (eg. Anthony of Man U). Partey's ball sense is second to none.

When you set up a beautiful style of play, easily scoring goals in front of the goal, you don't need a striker that costs up to 70-80 million.. a good striker just needs to appear in front of the goal to coordinate with teammates and wait. chances to score.. Jesus is a good player, but he always leaves the opponent's goal so his goals are very few.
