In the discussion of most improved, I prefer to give the award to someone who was largely underperforming the previous season and is now a high level player. To me, the improvement of mediocre to really good is more significant than really good to insanely good. With that in mind, I'd give the MIP to Coby. Nobody expected him to be as good as he is this season.
Totally agree, don't think Maxie is a shoe in for MIP especially if you look at the improvements from last season to this one especially if Coby can stay as consistent as he's been. To start the season there was serious debate if Coby was gonna be a starter for the bulls. Coby is doing a little bit of everything on the court. If he sustains this he totally deserves MIP over Maxie

Celtics fans. You should watch other games from time to time. Has any team ever double teamed White? He's the last guy other teams worry about. Since Embiid has been out Maxey gets double teamed regularly and how has he responded? PPG/assists going up? It's no contest.

Maxey is such a blessing to the Philadelphia sports world. Once he improves his decision making, he'll be a top 10-15 player in the league.
I feel your point of view on Tyrese Maxey but hopefully, everyone can understand this guy just recently received All-Star to his resume and running the team at the moment but also had a few MIA with injuries and sickness but It should be lock for MIP this year let's just say if anything last year should've been a lock for him
