    Your pardon, seven time cruiser here. There is NO WAY such a scenario could play out. The security procedures for boarding would prohibit, I repeat, prohibit someone stealing your tickets and getting onboard. The check-in procedures alone would quickly identify any subterfuge.

    Since their cruise tickets were stolen from them and they were not cheap I’m sure they should’ve filed a police report. Don’t care if it was the parents file a police report. Then the parent should’ve gone back to work paid off the bills and pay them the price of the cruise tickets, and every other thing that they added on top of what they spent. Disgusting disgusting parents unbelievable and then the nerve of them going. Crazy thinking everything was all inclusive and then wanting the son and daughter-in-law to pay for the bills. They accrued on the cruise ship where they were not even supposed to be. Well that’s what you get for being a thief, because that’s what they were. They stole the tickets they needed to be reported to the police for theft. I know they finally went on a honeymoon but it was not what they wanted not what they planned. They enjoyed where they went, but it was not the exciting Mediterranean cruise that they had planned script and saved for, but couldn’t go because of the jack ass parents.

  • @donbergeson6771
    @donbergeson6771 Před měsícem +3

    Some things don't make sense. First and foremost is, I've only been on 1 cruise but, like with an airline ticket, the name on my boat ticket had to match my ID or I wasn't getting on board. Also, at first it was reasonable to think it was an accident since no one went through the brochure while they were all together. So why not either call and get them to come right back or drive to where they are to get the tickets back? How long from when this happened till the boat left dock? If it was the next day, the tickets should have been I the luggage, not the brochure still. If it was more than that, no excuse for not getting your property back. They said they printed the boarding passes. Well, print another set and go on the cruise. I personally would tell my parents in a case like that they not only would have to pay their own bills but they better be able to afford a lawyer as well because if they didn't reimburse me for the cruise, I'd sue their ass.

  • @sassynana5201

    This story sounds fake. The things people supposedly said just don’t ring true to the alledged events. And why not call parents right away and say, “Hey, you accidentally took our tickets when you grabbed that brochure. I’ll be right over to get them”? That’s normal.

  • @sherlocksteve9109
    @sherlocksteve9109 Před 22 dny

    OP.. you should have SUED your in-laws and reported to the police for the theft. The court would then have to force your in-laws to pay back to you for the same cruise they stole from you. They should have not been allowed on the ship because the tickets are in your name and the cruise company is at fault for allowing them on it. SO they owe you a FREE cruise and everything at compensation. SO GET A LAWYER!!

    I would have loved that vacation as a honeymoon. But my wife gets seasickness, even on large vessels. We attended a cruise luncheon on a large ship up and down the Potomac River (my wife ate nothing) having been told the boat was large enough that no one gets seasickness on that boat. Wife had a great job and loved everything about that job. The company didn’t have a Christmas party, near the end of Spring they had an all you can eat crab, when she talked to upper management she was told this vessel was much larger than the one on the Potomac. This went from the Port of Baltimore down Chesapeake Bay to Annapolis and then back to Baltimore - another you can’t get sick on this boar. WRONG! She did. She took a lot of motion sickness pills both times. The Baltimore trip was with a doctor’s prescription for motion sickness. Didn’t work. So, with all that, we’re locked in for no trips on water. Trips are only plane, train, and autos. Wife throws up 15-30 minutes on plane trips but after that, she’s much better. It never is ok on planes.
    So much as I would love to take a cruise, I never would without my wife. I would be miserable without her. A voyage visiting ports around the Mediterranean sounds like a dream. Many ports famous in history mentioned in the Crusades (some cities far from the coast) as well as places in Greek and Roman mythology. OMG… total dream vacation. Our honeymoon was over 50 years ago. Her sea sickness is worse in her 70s now.. But getting real, we would never think about stealing our son’s Honeymoon. Our son is adopted. He is still my son. It’s an honor to be his dad, an honor to be his ma. In this case the boy made the decision and picked us. Extreme honor. He can take boat trips. Maybe we can save money to send them to the Med. Would love to send them. He would take thousands of pictures for us to be there with them.
