This was awesome, please do more infantry centric/infantry only eye in the sky like this. I think its what Squad excels at. Vehicles are cool but I think infantry combat in Squad especially after ICO is just so much better to watch. Also with infantry combat, I think going down to ground level is more immersive and intense to watch.
Love that the NA servers don't have a thousand snipers that have 20/20 vision and are sniping everyone from 10 miles away

I haven't adjusted yet, but this update is good for the game. I believe this match video shows that. The slow pushes, requiring coordination. It just pulls you into the game when you're playing.

Being tall is blessing and a curse, many don’t get that. I’m 6’6 and when I was 16 I was already getting physiotherapy done on my knees cause I grew something like 6 inches in 8 months when I was 14, it’s nice being able to reach any shelf but goddam we sure do pay a price for it lol

Is it possible that the radio was bugged and no one could hear it? I mean it's either that or the players are bots judging by how they didn't take cover when they were being mortared. I'm leaning towards the latter option :D

ICO really makes this game too difficult to have fun. The only reason people have not stopped playing squad is because they are itching for that moment they can get a kill when basically being denied majority of the game. The worst part is there is no Squad competitor that is doing what they are doing aside from ARMA but getting into Arma is such a hoop. ICO basically makes the game a camp simulator where people are just camping corners and sectors for majority of the game and its extremely boring.

I wis squad gave you a chance to play as solo. For new players, they can't try new role/weapons even on "new player friendly server."

Umm, you can definitely try different roles as a new player. It takes time to learn roles, you can't just hop in and expect to be good. Use your mic, be honest about your skills, and enjoy the experience. My first 6 months playing squad was just shooting not having a care in the world if I hit someone or not.

After the update Squad is not the same anymore. Only few servers are online and dies easy after 2 to 3 games. Hope this will change coz this is the only game that I love to play.
What servers are you playing on? I’ve had the opposite experience on Riplomacy, the queue has only gotten longer

No one talks like that, why use Our Lord's name as an expletive? it's gratuitous and ugly. Unwatchable. Why can't skilled players just do their thing?
I think that developers went in wrong direction. New squad unfortunately have nothing to do with reality. There are some changes which I like like new explosion animation but there is also some of them which i hate. New PIP is to small specially when comparing to reality. Scope magnification should be at least 10 times. Putting scope to an eye should be much faster. In real life it takes no more that a second and I do not consider my self as a good shooter. Scope view shouldn't be disturbed when moving with the gun from side to side because normal when U look through the scope face is resting on rifle stock. That's why Your eye is not moving from the scope view. The same with the pistol... It never shouldn't be developed as a simulation of pistol movement from sign of sight . It should be always straight to the opponent. With new squad physics we have situation when player sprays whole magazine in front of the enemy and the enemy is not hit ... this is far from realistic especially when in normal life we can always aim down the barrel at close close distances -this feature is missing.
Also it is not realistic that when You're lying down ... normally Your scope is not moving and it is even when You don't have bipod because You are resting your rifle on magazine. Those changes should be removed when developers wanted to call this game as a simulation but from my point of view developers wanted to give more chances to new players - so we should read it like more accessible to noobs which means more players = more money. Unfortunately this destroyed realism in this game and that's why players are angry.. because this is not the game they paid for.
There is a big difference between trying to aim a gun/look down sights when you´re on a rifle range and when you have been running around trying not to get shot. Sight pictures can bounce around a lot when moving, especially with a magnified scope, so I couldn´t disagree with you more on that point. Additionally, trying to find your sight picture can be hard even while lying down, as you are almost never in an ideal position in the real world. This is amplified 10 fold when you are diving for cover and then trying to aim.
Here´s my suggestion. Grab your gun, go for a nice run with it, and then try aiming. You´ll be surprised how hard it can be to get a decent sight picture. I think the devs did a good job with this update especially after the hot patches.
@@SgmScraps Well I don't know about You but I shoot real guns in real life and I can better hit in real life than in squad also issue with scope view ... if You buy poor scope then this effect occur but if You buy normal quality scope like zeiss or svarowsky ... then there is no bad scope view. When You move around You can very fast aim at the target ... much better than in squad.
Realism and gameplay feel are two very different things - they are trying to make the game FEEL strategic and realistic, not make all the gameplay elements themselves realistic. They want firefights to feel stressful and panicked when not planned for, that’s the point. I agree that there is some tweaking that needs to be made, but making squad realistic to what we can do in the real world will never capture the actual feel of a real firefight because we’re sitting behind a screen. This does a far better job at capturing that feeling even if it’s not as realistic
@@roloroles854 yes, but you missed my first point. Shooting on a range is not the same as shooting in a firefight, or rolling around on the ground shooting from less than ideal positions while fatigued and under extreme stress while aslo carrying equipment. Squad replicates that very well. And I am speaking as someone who has also fired everything from pistols to light machineguns with the Irish military. The purpose of the ICO was to take squad from a COD like shooter and make it more tactical and a thinking/team game rather than a bullet spam.
It may not be hyper realistic, but it is a damn site more realistic than any other pvp fps that I have ever played.
