WOW!! First, thanks to Chaz Bojórquez for opening a world that is not well known to those of us who live in a culture outside of the LA art scene, specifically graffiti art. (And now, thanks to you, we also know how to spell graffiti.) And we now also have a better understanding and appreciation for that genre of art. Secondly, thanks to The Dream State, Bayou Bennett and Daniel Lir, for giving an avenue for art to be shared with the world. It's a wonderful teaching tool. Please continue. Donna and DMinor Bennett

Thank you so much! Chaz, is a great person, super talented and hard working. He is very inspiring and we were honored to have him on the show and to tell his story. ALSO to help others learn how to make it as a Graffiti Artist.

We should say Godfather of “West Coast -Chicano” graffiti! Btw you can spell it either way, French or American English

Cornbread’s incorrectly labeled the first graffiti artist. His scribbles were trash.
Chaz acknowledges that there was pachucos leaving their placas across LA long before him

How is he the godfather of graffiti if cornbread was doing it before him? I respect Bojorquez, but I think he should be called the godfather of the westcoast style graffiti.

Not THE godfather but A godfather. CornBread started this shit, Philly and global Master. New York popularized and established it solidly and equipped it with all around flavor that took over the world. Chaz is a godfather of not only Cholo style graff but all around graff as well. School up lame brain.

      Cornbread is trash.
Chaz has stated there was plenty of pachucos layin their placas across LA before him.
Cholo graffiti is a style that has evolved over the decades but retains its style and aesthetic. Corn brea was only scribbles
