In this Next.js tutorial, I will explain Next.js not found page 404 to show how to use the custom UI for this kind of page using the concepts of App router in Next.js 15.
not-found.js This file allows the notFound UI to be rendered when the notFound function is thrown in the middle of a route segment. Besides serving a custom UI, for streamed responses, Next.js will return a 200 HTTP status code and, for nonstreamed responses, a 404. Good to know: the root app/not-found.js file will also catch expected notFound() errors, and it also handles any unmatched URLs for your whole application. That is, users navigating to a URL your app doesn't handle will see the UI that's exported from the app/not-found.js file.
