Yeah Brandy records new backgrounds for a lot of different performances and switches up the arrangements quite often. She's a true musician beyond just being a great singer. It's truly incredible to witness and i love your voice as well!! Keep going!

I'm the same way Melodie Joy I like looking at the album cover and reading the credits like who's producing & executive producing the album who's singing the BGV's all that stuff I don't like doing all that downloading songs I rather go to either Walmart, Target, or Bestbuy and get the whole album

yesss she definitely recorded some new backgrounds for this performance and its amazing
Lol this was Awesome! She changes her backgrounds EVERY performance for every song. There are times where she’ll use the traditional background vocals with the mix of new elements in between. the new blends with the old really well. sometimes you may not be able to tell unless you know the music very well. She treats her lead vocals the same way. However, she is the queen of repeating the same riff and other vocal abilities the same way every time, if and when she chooses.
P.S. Brandy IS singing live on the Baby Momma song, however her soundmen explained that she is hands on with the sound quality for each song to match the production of her pre-recorded tracks.. on Baby Momma she is using Melodyne, and That’s an very EXPENSIVE mic lol..

Confused as to why she lip synced the verses on Baby Mama though 🤔 that's like the easiest song from what she sang lol
I think she was lacking the instrumentation that day needed for that song , so instead of matching vocally she just decided to lip to a track. It was only two live instruments there not enough to drive what’s originally in the original track . But yeah it was definitely lipped
I get what your saying when I comes to those who came from the church. But at the sametime, why are doing what you are doing? Is God in what your doing? Are you using your voice to minister the people. We should use our gifts to worship the Lord. A lot of those artist have strayed far away from Jesus too! You can tell by the fruits they bear.
Now, I’ll give you one Artist that can bring Jesus in everything, Fantasia can bring Jesus in the room when she does her music. She in anointed !!!! Ok Anointed but you can tell God is using her for a specific purpose. But she also will be accountable for the music she puts out, good and bad. She also doesn’t make as much music like she use too. She can but I believe it’s a specific reason for that. We are set apart.
You need to make sure what you are doing is for the Kingdom of God, at the end of the day because if your music is leading people to sin then your in trouble.
It’s nothing wrong with going outside of the four walls of the church, the church is the people. But if you go out and sing to others Jesus should be in it. People will know who you are by the Spirit of God living inside.
Remember faith comes by hearing the Word of God. So, if the Jesus isn’t in what your doing you can head down a risky path.
