Your chat has probably told you but it’s worth it to tame higher level Dino’s cause each tame caps at 77 levels so when you tame a level 3 you can only get it to level 80. With a higher level base you can reach higher levels and higher stats.
The thylacoleo is the big cat that sits in the tree and knocks you off of your FLYING mount not your regular tames I just started the video so idk if you alr found this out later on

REALLY amazing tip for building you can bring walls lower than ceiling's so you can drop down the wall so your base isnt floating

If you like the minecraft aspect, you should try 7 days to die. Highly recommend.
Should’ve tamed the Rex the 2nd strongest Dino but stay away from a giga they’re good takes but are hard to tame 🙃🙂

This isn't an ark playthrough until you lose/nearly lose everything you worked for due to high level dinos in the wrong place, RIP me naïve self versus the DODOREX with a 180 Argy
also btw Skyes, and anyone who attempts this game, search good single player settings on yt, it shortens the grind of this game, which roughly takes 100 hours for a pro and for me 150hrs in and only beaten 2 of four bosses. Its a long game and the early game can be as long as 50hrs or short as 10 depending on how you want to play. Until you fight/win against your first boss your not in endgame. But with time this game really speeds up and is incredibly fun, but punishing to the players who are too confident.
saying that.....play how you want to play at your speed. And enjoy!!!!
