Only when tunes are played with the absolute max of attention, love and sheer dedication, is when a sound like this emerges..... eradicating all thoughts until only the soul stirring is left....
Love the guy dancing through and the nod lol
A fine version of "Frank's Reel"! (It's popular for use as a set tune in Scottish Country Dancing.)
This music is outstanding loved the two lads joining in at different stages.🌎
I dont mean to be so offtopic but does someone know of a tool to log back into an instagram account?
I was stupid forgot the password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me

I love this it's a fantastic selection of tunes and the musicians are awesome.
Well done lads. Great tunes and playing. Loved the outdoors too : -)
That guitar player is pretty great. I've been playing violin for about 4 years now, and the violinist is one of my idealistic sounds to achieve.
Uri Schleifer is his name haha woops

Wonderful video!
great sound :-)
God i wish i could play frank's reel on guitar that fast (the main melody)..so far that's proving pretty difficult. This is amazing though i love it 😁
It's also in key A, which makes it harder to play on the usual key D flute or whistle too - they do a great job of it.
bravo pour le montage très réussi !!
I need to learn how to play like this!
Get this to spotify!

@@lilunae et oui ! :D
uri schleifer is my dads cousin!
:)
i love their music!
Daniel uses DADGAD tuning, so the chords you see probably don't mean anything to someone who's not used to this kind of tuning.
However, the first tune is in Dmajor, and the second one is in Amajor
Who disliked this? Who? Be gone, troll, be gone.
Hi Patrick, Philip plays a Stéphane Morvan flute.
You put in the description that Frank's Reel is trad, but it's actually written by the great fiddle player John McCusker!!!!
יפה מאוד :)
Hup!
Put rosin back... Don't the forget rosin... Rosin.... My rosin...
*5 minutes later on the bus home*
Oh no my rosin!!!!
listen to McGoldrick, McCusker and Doyle - these guys are damn near as good!
franks reel is scottish, written in 1798 when it was called col mcbean
Quite a joy to listen to. I'm from the french part of Canada, and the traditional québecers music took quite a lot after irish music... This kind of flute doesn't seem familiar to me.. Is it the worldly known flute, like in a symphonic orchestra. What is its name if it's different. Thank you to have bear with my english.
printaboul It's different. The flute used in orchestras has keys and is quite friendly to having all twelve notes typically used in western music played on it, whereas this particular flute does not have keys and is designed primarily to play a seven-note major scale. They do, however, come in different keys, and by half-holing or underblowing can play all twelve notes. I've heard them referred to as Irish flutes and wood flutes. Your English, by the way, is plenty good. You have nothing to apologize for.
hey i was wondering who was the maker of the flute the guy on the right is playing? sounds beautiful!
you guys are the reel thing! (Get it, get it?) And you can quote me on that. (Just don't forget who said it first). But seriously, you sound amazing.
...and playin' a Taylor with an Expression system to boot! What model is the instrument?
que careta
Joackolb
Very good
Go hiontach ar fad lads!!!!!!!!!!
Very well filmed besides the very good playing.
Must have costed some quidz
Why are only my views showed? :(
Actually, there is now another one. v=tVyC8LJG2pE
where are you guys based? Is it in Ireland? If so where x
Ciara Griffin Tel Aviv
A real cracker!!!
what are the guitar chords you play?
Daniel plays in DADGAD, in this specific piece he shifts from the usual chords in the scale of D (D, G, A, Bm, Em, F#m) to just using the bass line while staying in D
2:34 when you learn you can work remotely
itsaguinness well spotted I’ve watched this loads and never noticed before😂😂😂😂😂 good vid 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I like it. But if the guitar had been strung with nylon strings to make it less annoying it would have been a much better mix.
Is the guitarist playing in DADGAD? I love his style
Joshua Donahue indeed, Daniel plays in DADGAD
זה באמת מוסיקה מצוינת! אולי להוסיף bodhrán? אבל מספיק טוב בלי.
