Furniture Refinishing the easy Way. How to refinish wood furniture without too much difficulty. Refinishing my homemade wood Dining Table. How I refinished my wooden DiningRoom Table the easy way, using Watco Danish Oil for its protective beauty and a topcoat of Minwax water based Polycrylic for even greater surface protection. My table had aged over the years due to oil based Polyurethane, which will yellow and darken overtime. This step by step tutorial will give any furniture project a beautiful, well protected finish, while being relatively simple and straightforward with as little fuss as possible. Sanding is unavoidable, but I take you through the grits I use for a decent Finish.

how do you clean you brushes, they look new every time you use them

I use a fair bit of water based finishes when I can, soap & water and a brush comb, I do it right away after I finishing filming. For Danish Oils if I use a brush I will throw it out, I use cheap ones in this case, but like foam brushes. I rarely clean with solvents etc.
