This video with Don Husky (just like all the videos I tend to make) was recorded in one take with no rehearsals! What makes this video special however, is that I'm pretty sure Don had never sung over drum and bass before. I love the way he adapted his flow and delivery to the music in the moment. It truly feels raw. It kinda reminds me of a video I made in India called 'no rest for the wicked' feat Mahesh Vinayakram and Cade. Mahesh had never heard of DnB either and therefore it sparked an energy inside him that may not have been delivered otherwise. Don Husky is an incredibly talented vocalist with some very deep lyrics. I saw him perform a number of times in Kingston and I was always blown away by how emotional his performance felt. I had a lot of fun making this dubplate... Enjoy
