I rewatched your video of the same New Year event last year, and honestly imo, it's better(maybe just a bit) than what we have to deal with now. I love the Plant Hero very much, but I hate the fact that the minibosses have to be the worst that I've ever met in my life . I rather never meet them again, except the ice bull( I don't know his name) .
Well, there are two bugs in this lunar new year challenge that maybe can help to pass these 13 easy mode levels and 13 hard mode levels First, If you have a upper level 4 Phat Beat, when you find a card says "2% bonus when earn each 1000 suns", just choose it, and you will discover that there is a bug that phat beat can defeat all those zombies when you have at least 15000 suns, even the boss. The second bug is when you use one plant with Imitater, when you finish the level 4, you will find that you can pick the same plant seed again(at most 8 same plants) ......
This hero-plant thing remembers to the Pvz1 Chinese versions... Maybe Talkweb is trying to bring back that function but adapted to Pvz2 chinese difficulty and mechanics...
15:24 pretty sure the starting sun isn't random, it just carries over from level to level (Example: you ended lv 9 with 4k, you started lv 10 with 4k) Ig it also carries over from attempt to attempt, so you can just build a sun bank as you keep on failing
Somethings to improve on especially in hard mode: What you’re doing now isn’t enough. On my winning attempts I started level 13 with 22k sun in bank. Basically in the first few levels, greed as much sun as you possibly could because starting from level 1 your sun gain from everything is decreased by 10% and it eventually will ramp up to 70% decrease, meaning unless you have literal 10 thousands of sun in bank you are not gonna have a single chance at beating the mode. Plant your level 4 sunflowers at every opportunity you got because every little sun helps. As for the phat beats, get the bonus after level 1 and once you beat Weasel you should have hopefully 18k sun at least then spam phat beat near the front. As for the glitch I went with Lava Guava, in level 13 I have 4 of them ready to use
the fact the upgradigng ui is the same as in kingdom rush is just 💀
