Yes indeed ....this is very refreshing to see...young British folk into jazz! I never thought I would see this day. I have been playing passionate improvised tenor saxophone ever since I heard Coltrane,Rollins, Pharoah and Shepp back in the 60's and in particular I have been playing this sort of stuff with drum duets for well over 20 years. When we played a gig (whenever we could get one that is) most people thought we were really weird only because they didn't understand the language of this music, it now seems really hip to young people. I do hope it's not just a fashion fad. Well done lads keep up the good work, you are in the right place at the right time ...how lucky you are! However never forget all the great musicians who's shoulders you stand on and make sure your audiences know that too.
