What are your thoughts on Slafkovsky's potential?
It's not just points, he's now using his size to dominate, along the boards and in front of the net. His 200 foot game is great also. He's a complete package
The kid is gonna be a BEAST!!!
What people in US and Canada don't get is, that he had to move to the other side of the world and get used to new country, culture, language. It doesn't happen in few months, people need time to get used to things. His life changed so much and he needed time to adapt to all of this. Plus he is a big guy and they always develop slower. Calling him a bust after like 50 games was just wrong and I'm really glad he is showing the haters what he is made of.
Good call!
he's improved this year
Him and Suzuki first 100 point players in so many years imo
The ceiling. Not too long ago some open-mouths-unconnected-to-grey-matter were calling this teenager a bust. A year ago, they were lamenting Kent not picking Shane Wright.
The ceiling for Slaf? Im gonna say he could likely get between 80-90 points per season. If the Habs develop a LEGIT 2nd line and develop a bonafide #1 Defenceman able to QB the PP & move the puck well, then he has a chance to push past 100 points. This will take a few more years to develop that quality D man from our current or soon to be acquired players PLUS a second line that other teams will have to prepare for, but I see it coming.
Mirror your sentiments about Slaf, to many naysayers purporting his demise. He will be a force in a very long and successful career...
better than MCDavid
better than gretzky
Better than them all.
