- Dead Like Me is a Comedy Drama following Reapers that withdrawal the souls from the bodies of those who are to die usually before they die so it's not a horrible shock to the person's soul.
FYI this guy thought he was a freak because he was going in for a sex change operation when he died.
I'm the main character in the show George it's a girl but our personalities are almost exactly the same...except being into men which I do not share ;)
They never show what's after life
Everyone sees something different when the pass on through to the other side

BTw. I pretty much hate most acting and with that TV shows so if I like a show then that means it's of high quality.
OF COURSE IT'S Just MY OPINION
;)
What is the song playing in the background
Im not sure of the song's name. I really like it though. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

@@jerodast nice!!!
@@jerodast Thanks.
I'm trying to figure it out
I also like the scene where they were transcribing people's last thoughts from paper records to computer records, and it closes on Daisy's last thoughts. Made me cry.
Yeah Daisy just didnt want to alone I remember. She is misunderstood by most people and comes off as a shallow person but she is deeper.
@@Night-Jester actually her last thought was "why has no one ever loved me?". Daisy, in her lifetime, was using sex in the goal to be loved, and basically got screwed other everytime. Yet, she wasn't realizing back then that she was just not doing the right thing to find love. To love someone is to care first, not to desire. This is why Mason, after reading Daisy's last thought, decided to decline her offer to "have drink together at her place", and prefered to walk her home instead. It also showed that Mason wasn't that idiot as he seems to be, and is actually one of the nicest man that you could meet, very empathic even tho he's a fucked up.
I miss TV shows where characters have that much depths and different traits in their personnality. Now, characters of TV show as so unidimensional... boring.
@@manneianevski Theres a brief time when Mason gets straight and gives up drugs and drinking. Then he has to do a reaper gig at a kids birthday party. I think it was the birthday kids dad. That assignment broke Mason again and he went back to the bottle. That was another great, though tragic, look at Mason as a person.
i liked this show. wish it didn't get cancelled. the movie didn't do it justice.
I remember seeing this as a teen and I felt so bad for him, it fundamentally changed I see the world and how to question who people are and not what they are.
For her. Stan couldn't be the woman she wanted to be, but she was still a woman on the inside
This is a wonderful scene, I can understand why it would be someone's favorite. For me, it's the very last episode, very last scene, very last line, in the graveyard. It's like closure. "It's not so bad, being dead like me."
There are so many great scenes in that show :) Sorry for the late reply but thank you for sharing.
The best last line
This is surely one of the sadly scene from all TV shows until today. ❤
Miss this so much...One of the best show. 😢
This one stuck with me for so loong. I also love the scene were they find Reggies toiletseat covered tree.
The reaction of Joy when she found out about the tree : "Jesus FUCKING christ" xD
@@manneianevski Thats when she realises maby she hasn't done enough grieve(spelling hard) work with her daughter. 😲👏👏👏👏
Whats the context of this scene? I haven't seen this show in years, I'm confused
The man was in the process of getting gender reafirming surgery, becoming woman, and then he died ( killed by a stiletto heel)
The one scene from a TV show I can't forget still my favorite show I wish it lasted longer I think it was underrated
The music, the acting and the way such a topic was handled with grace is part of why the show was great. Dausy, under the pretense of being shallow was loving and cared about the souls of those she was in charge of. They managed to show both sides... Stan's anger and God's love in the end. Beautiful scene that aged like fine wine.
I comeback every few years to get refreshed
Hey bud :)
really missed this show :'(
Yeah it's awesome :)
Dead like me hit social topics that most shows of that era didn't. Of course, it was based on the stereotypes but still handled with a lot more grace and aged decently. Rewatching the show in a modern context doesn't give me as much cringe as other shows do.
This scene, and the final scene of Cold Case Episode “Shuffle, Ball Change” are my favourites of all times.

Was that the one with Elliot Paige as a Trans man?
@ButterfrogGaming it's pretty awesome IMO and this was a more rare scene they usually stick to the funny with dramatic but not this dramatic scenes every now and then.
Notice how she says "do you want some time alone?" She doesn't actually leave. God never leaves your side, even when you think you're alone.
I love this thank you.
Beautiful and you are right God never leaves you
Great show miss it
very interesting, I've never heard of it before, I'll have to check it out
This is my favorite scene too.
I have not seen this before. I will give it a look
that and the pilot train scene were my faves
Lovely scene ❤
That was an interesting moment of DAED LIKE ME. Might had been even a more interestin gocus for the later done movie as the script that had been used instead of a full third season.
Well it is done in the tradition of some similar movie scenes as from THE BISHOP´S WIFE or THE ANGEL WITH THE TRUMPET :)
@frickxxc3 spoken like someone who has watched the show :) I couldn't agree more...literally. I HEARD about the movie :( also heard that it didn't have all the actors or whatever. I heard it was such a offense to the goodness of the show that I never even bothered. Btw something just tells me it makes sense you liked the show ;) and glad to see I'm not the only one.
Cool music
You want proof of the great spirit ? Look in a mirror
This scene broke my heart
Context??
@@franknberry333 Daisy (Grim Reaper) met this man at a clinic where the man was wanting to start the transition to becoming a woman.
He/she unfortunately died. Growing up in a religious family, he struggled with “God’s plan.”
They wanted an apology from God/Jesus for making him LIVE that way. It must have been torture for them to question their identity their entire life … because he was “made” to think a certain way and they felt they could never be their true self.
Mortal está escena. No la subieron en el canal español.
My son bought me the box set with the movie :) my favorite is Night hawks
That's a great episode!
This scene turned me into a sobbing mess when I first saw it.
@bikemessenger7 I highly recommend I have no idea about most of your taste in things You're mysterious! but you do let me/tubers in so I can kind of see your taste in things :)
A boom boom bah...
Whats the song?
Nomahs land by Metisse. Took my a minute to find it but here it is. Enjoy
Definitely one of the harder ones to watch
Probably the most poignant scene in the series.
I feel like him im just a demonic snner i dont think god can save me y'all can i cant
So confused. What got thrown through the window? Why did she run out of the Church, then come back in?
Sorry I forgot I edited the scene so much. It was a rock thrown by some troublesome kids. She goes to chase them off and yell at them. She then comes back to check on Stan but Stan has already passed over to the other side.
A better clip can be seen here.

I like the next episode, with the priest.
I like when I didn’t see your comment 2 years ago
The pride of man.
Very insightful response to a very poignant scene.
Just watched this episode with my trans girlfriend. We both cried, Stan deserved to be the woman she wanted to see.
Thank you to the writers for not making her a joke, or suggesting that "he" was wrong. It's tragic that she didn't get to live her life out proud. But I imagine her lights took her where she needed to go.
R.I.P Stan. You are loved.
As Daisy said, "blessed are thou amongst all women"
It's incredible considering this aired in '06.
Stop going after the children, you can be who ever you want, just stop pushing your narrative on little children. Because all you’re doing, is pissing everyone off, and wanting to separate themselves from your alphabet community, stop going after the children, and you won’t have problems.
And YOU ARE, pushing this crap down children’s throats, especially teachers, since when is it okay for a teacher to talk about their sexuality to little children?
Do you want me telling your little children, about my sexual exploits and preferences?
Probably not, so why is it okay for the alphabet community? Stop pushing it on children, you’re just dividing everyone.
🏳️⚧️
Totally confusing.
At 1:30, the window breaks. At 1:42, it's intact again. Why?
She runs out, as if in fear. But then comes calmly back in. Why?
When she comes back in, she doesn't even seem to register that he's gone. Why?
She says, "Blessed art thou amongst women," as if giving Mary credit for something. What? Why? What the hell?
The scene was sliced up to hell by the uploader, although the window is probably a continuity error (Though you could argue that God himself broke the window to give Daisy a reason to leave, and he restored it when he took Stan). Daisy runs outside chasing down the people who broke the window, screaming “vandals!” At them, but doesn’t catch them and returns. Meanwhile God actually fully embraces Stan and takes him to heaven while she’s gone. This clip doesn’t show all that.
@@jaanfo3874 Thanks for that explanation!
Sorry but I don't get it.
C est vrais
Why did she run away?
Daisy ran to find out who threw the rock through the staind glass.
@@Night-Jester
It kinda looked like she was fleeing of what was about to happen XD
@@PerfectAlibi1haha yeah she just kind of jetted out of there!
There is a reason and purpose. Everything happens because it has to, just because it is bad doesn't mean you deserved it.There are no mistakes.Do not feel guilty about who you are or if you have made a decision that you or others think is wrong or bad. I do not follow religion. This is based on my own life experience and nothing from another person(s), group or such.
I just watched this episode for the first time and this scene hit me like a ton of bricks.
The outcasts created by the church have every right to be angry at how they've been treated by those that call themselves Christians but behave like anything but
He was transgender.. hoping for M2F when he was tragically killed.. accidrntally with a stilettoe heel through an eye.
Alway told he was a freak by his religious family.. in death he sought understanding of why God made him that way.
A few things dont make sense...
1. How does the window heal? After the thing comes through it, before Jesus shows up, it's fixed. A miracle?
2. Pretty sure the Bible says you repent first, THEN you get the eternal life and salvation bits.
3. Why does she pray a line from the Hail Mary prayer? That looked like Jesus who showed up all magic like, not the Blessed Mother.
4. Why did this show get cancelled, I really liked the characters and plot material. I could have dealt with another 2-3 seasons.
I can answer number 3; Stan is a woman who died at the plastic surgeon's office ready to get the operation. Daisy knows this and acknowledges her as a woman with that prayer. In that context, the lights do look like the blessed mother. Also, daisy doesn't know what form the lights took to pick her up.
As for number 2, she probably repented in her early childhood. She just lashed out because she spent her whole life trapped in the wrong body. And when she was finally able to start living her life it was taken away from her.
The lights in the show take the form of whatever the soul would be pulled towards.
For the little girl in the first episode it was a magical theme park, for the Irish guy it was the cliffs of Dover.
For Stan she saw Jesus holding his arms open for her to walk into. She saw unconditional love and peace.
There's never really any answer as to where the lights take you, just that you'll be happy. You'll be so happy you won't hesitate to walk towards them.
For #1 the window may never have broken. They tried to throw the book at it multiple times. Then says they'd forgive him if he'd just apologize. He broke the window as an apology. Edit: nvm, the window isn't fixed. The kids break a side window to the left, not the main window.
