Great video! I've been loving this expansion pack and play instrument. This makes me want to go make another beat right now. Please keep releasing house expansion packs!
Thank you NI and Boris. I hope these maschine related tutorial vids stay on YT for years. So many insightful golden nuggets of info I might not find elsewhere.
Native Instrumentals you all rock! Thank you for this! Please keep up the tuts! I will stay a NI customer for life! I’m still looking forward to seeing a masterclass in the future from you all!
I know there are tons of tutorials for NI's Maschine MK3. But Boris' are so spot on and easy to follow. I'd definitely love to see more House tutorials. Plus seeing Boris show off his dance moves is awesome lol.
Native instruments is unreal. I'm not a musician nor do I understand chords. All I do is make music with I think sounds right. But the playbox section alone really elevates your sound. This all new to me and sadly I bought magix music maker. Its so unstable it crashes my pc every 3 minutes I need to save my time like every section just in case. Point is guys. Don't use magix music maker lol.
@@730productionsllc No it doesn't, just the fact that people who don't understand what they purchased gets more and more disappointing. Simply hook up the + to a PC, load up the expansion and start sampling, just the the + is intended to do....
@@lucid484 unnecessary but your opinion. I did understand what I was purchasing as I used to have the mk3. But I do not own a computer but still wanted Maschine for its sampling purposes. I asked due to the fact that all of the purchases of expansion I have accumulated over the years since the first maschine have loaded up on to my standalone. What I didn’t understand was the play series not being able to load up. That’s where my disappoint was.

Boris, why are you & Native Instruments tethered to a DAW Still.......... its 2023 The Maschine is so close to being a Standalone Device!!!! yet you still have to tweak parameters outside the Box from your DAW...!!!! Man you got to get your R&D to make a unit that is purely standalone, so you have a One Stop shop being a Flag Ship Device, wether its a Native Instrument unit with Keyboard & Screen, & Native Instrument as an all in one Device. I Hate to say this but the Akai Key 61 is killing it, & already made Classic House Arrangement on this standalone Keyboard. Man you Need to catch up. Your Tutorials are all good. But you still are tied to that desk your sitting at every time you do a new Video...... Nuff said.
Hey Boris. Thx for that Great inspiring video. What tool do you use for recording the master during a Jam? an external recorder or the internal Sampler in a separate group?
When I work only digital it goes straight to MASCHINEs internal sampler, but when I use my analogue gear I'll mixdown directly to an external SD recorder
I hope someone from native can see this comment and maybe help but when I export a full song to my computer from maschine it’s chopping off the first split second of the song! Anyone got an idea how to rectify this? I’ve tried it with or without loop optimise on but still does the same thing! Firmware is up to date so any help would be good as it’s a real problem!
We don't distribute them anymore, but you might still be able to find Iris licenses in a second-hand market. For questions about copyright, please see this page here: bit.ly/3I2iax2
@@Bee-Vai Yeah but if you already have it then you don’t need to worry about buying it. And version 5 works perfectly so it doesn’t need any updating..

Please no touch screen this is what I love about the Maschine that everything is controllable via buttons and encoder and please no battery makes it only heavy… and a standalone version is already available called machine +

Great video! I've been loving this expansion pack and play instrument. This makes me want to go make another beat right now. Please keep releasing house expansion packs!
Love this expansion. It reminds me of the Streets Of Rage 2 soundtrack for Sega Genesis 👊
What a throwback
Indeed what a throwback 😄

Watching Boris dance makes me so happy I love it 😊
i don't know why still don't follow you on the Gram, Boris! the way you present is very inspiring!

@Nativeinstruments Is the first Kickdrum heard in the Video included in one of these packs?
Hey Jonathan, it is included!
Cool vid! Can one use Feel It on Maschine Plus?
Feel It is a Kontakt instrument and is not compatible with Maschine+. You can however use the Higher Place expansion!
Hello, thank you for your video. Can you tell me how to change the root note from the MK3 controller?
In Pad Mode, buttons 5-8 on top of the second display allow you to change the root note by semitones and octaves
