Doctor gave me few weeks to live

Following an illness , my physician diagnosed me having blood cancer. I survived as my diagnosis wasn’t blood cancer as was proved later . During this life changing event , I learnt the lesson of empathy .

It seems like someone is reciting my own story except that I was a 12 year old when diagnosed with atypical Leukemia.

Bone marrow transplant
Can't afford

Multiple bone marrow tests
Petechia
Recurrent episodes of fever
Kind pathologist
Chemos
Kind junior doctor
Mandirs
6 months hospitalization at Mumbai(that was the only USA we could afford)
After few chemos,multiple opinions and few bone marrow later...suddenly one fine day bone marrow became normal.
So happy for you..... and myself too all over again.
