That's... that's definetly a comparison...
Maids of Iceland play through if I’m not mistaken?
This Expansion and free update put me closer to actually leave CK2 and stay with CK3 , this looks amazing
Personally i’ll start more on CK2 because of the game of thrones mod being fully fleshed out. But once it’s fully finished on ck3 bye ck2 haha
@@TROLLRAMBOGAMING Yea not to mention that all these new features fit Agot perfectly
Pretty much everything that ck3 does it does better than 2. The only problem it that there is plenty of stuff in ck2 that ck3 doesn't do at all.
Let’s face it, we all most likely have both games and will play both depending on what we want and how we feel.
@@TROLLRAMBOGAMING idk man... Elder Kings 2 is up there for me... I was holding back on playing this DLC only because EK hasn't been updated yet lmfao
Here on console about to be waiting a decade for this content 🥲
Ooh I love these new features!
in half an hour this will be very useful
This looks really interesting. I hope you play CK3 again on the channel soon.
Oh I definitely will! Gonna post an update on some upcoming plans soon - I'm looking forward to getting back to streaming
PE Nice didnt know you got to attend a tourny that sounds awesome kind jealous XD I love the new DLC its great
This game is so awesome now
I’m guessing your “basque in glory” series that just stopped is dead now that there is new DLC out? I enjoyed that story line.
Is One Proud Bavarian ok?? Haven’t seen him post in a while😵
As a CK2 player, I've been very disappointed by CK3 but this expansion looks super cool.
Hoping for deep council mechanics (in the spirit of Conclave) and Byzantine content some day.
If Conclave is the standard, then I think you set the bar too low because ck3 currently has almost everything Conclave had in the base game, except the laws (which the taxes and levies portion of the law from Conclave already exist in the game as well through vassal contract). I just don't think Conclave was a good DLC to begin with, speaking from council laws wise, so I am glad they already took the good things from the DLC and added it in the base game.
@@XVlove hey there. respectfully, i don't agree. yes, pieces of the DLC are returning ,but I would like to see a fully fleshed out system of the council weighing in on issues, with a fully 'empowered' counsel becoming militant if ignored. make interacting with vassals deep, complex, and rewarding
@@HistoryTeacherSteve i also want that but i don't want them to do it like Conclave, i want them to do it better, because Conclave's council mechanic wasn't that amazing. It's just either passing the law to curtail the power of your council or let them have more power, and that's it. It was more of an annoyance if they have full power within your council, but never more. there is not enough intrigue or slandering or political maneuvering. I really think they should look farther and further than Conclave if they ever going to do laws and councils.
@@XVlove agree with that, the more depth the better. it's this kinda stuff i really wish came with the game.... years ago. the game hits 2 at the end of summer, and there is so much missing imo. i've never been happy with it, personally. but happy to see it get better over time
@@XVlove you excited for the new DLC? looks cool
Can we get the house of PartyElite in the next CK3 playthrough? Since Mr. And Mrs. PartyElite are married
I noticed the screen gets very busy. Things happen a lot faster
When they will release it? its like 17:00 in Europe, cant find hour release anywhere
It should release in about an hour or so iirc!
Official CK3 page commented they "will aim for release 6PM CET. Give or take a little"
I have a feeling this update is coming in hot. Gonna be a buggy, unbalanced mess. That said Im pretty excited to try it out. Should be great after a patch or two
Big economy and warfare changes should take some time to iron out naturally, but seem like they are heading in a good direction
What games aren't, pdx releases are usually better than most and they really do listen to their community
It is already a massive improvement over the pre-patch game. In my Valois duchy game, France disintegrated into Burgundy, Aquitaine, and the rest as a unstable rump state still called France.
The cut down France went through civil wars one after another, with five different kings in less than 25 years, it was sheer madness. I was going to complain about the lack of Tournaments in this playthrough before I realized that constant war meant no Tournaments could happen.
In my 2nd playthrough as the Duchy of Holland, France was at peace and there were Tournaments all over the place.
I am impressed at the new links between peace and prosperity now. Simply because your levies have regenerated does not mean that war is cost-free like it used to be. You miss out on all the development gains from Tours and Tournaments.
@@pspublic13 well said. Im also noticing how it changes the way you play. I used to be constantly thinking about what my next war target would be, but so far Im much more content to chill out for a decade or two and do some pilgrimages and host some feasts. Especially after a succession. I was playing a duke in the HRE and when my young 20-something son took over my realm, I had to spend a decent amount of time going around building relationships with my liege and fellow vassals. And since my brothers went independent (partition lol) i decided to woo them with a feast and ally them instead of the just conquering them right away. Fun times
@@claymathews8814 My new problem is that although my income is decent compared to pre-patch, I don't have nearly enough to put on all the Tours and Tournaments that I want to.
I want to get these DLC's but the price is *insane* - there are other studios making fantastic, fully-featured games for the price PI is charging for one expansion. Right now, when money is tight, there is no way I can justify buying it
well, good thing just the tournaments, the new knight mechanic, and some activities like falconry are DLC locked. Regency, new vassal interactions, travels mechanics and all that is all free
I thought my video was in 1.5x speed. Nope its just his talking
And this is me trying to slow down...
asking planet zoo day 7
AGE OF WONDERS 4!!!!
As soon as i saw the loop of a dozen events, the horses and the clapping animations. I assumed this was a 5$ thing . 38$ CAD is hilarious to me for this.
Ck2 players in the comments disappointed by a newly game ck3 cuz the contents are not on par with 10+ yrs old ck2 😂 what a stupid comparison these boomers have
Hey, don’t attack ‘boomers’. Or any group of people. Not everyone has the same view….
